    I have about 1,000 channels. I still can't find the programs I like as much as the ones before cable when there was only ABC, CBS and NBC (and a couple local channels). I'm paying $200 a month to watch Cooking Shows and "Barney Miller" on TVLand.

    Did you try American Horror Story - Asylum? It is quite good and very attention grabbing. Revolution is good too, and there's Once Upon a Time, Walking Dead, Park Avenue 666 as well. Those are good at keeping you interested.
