    I 110% AGREE!!! No vampire can top THE best ever, Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins from the original '66-'71 ABC soap, Dark Shadows! However, Angelique on Dark Shadows was a pretty darn good as a vampire too, but much better when she was a witch!!!
    Barnabas Collins...from the original Dark Shadows. I do love Pam on True Blood though...lol.

    If we are judging by as seen on TV I'd go with the Salvatore Bros. In literature I'd go with Jean Claude or Asher from Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake Series.

    I've loved Anne Rice long before Vampires were 'cool'

    Have to agree I was a fan of Rice and I can watch "Queen of the Damned" over and over and see something great I missed from previous views.....

    I so agree. We live in a small town in Missouri and her husband's uncle is a teacher in my sons school! I'd have to go with Jean Claude, but I love the way she describes her men!
