I am at 1790 a day. It's a bit of a challenge and it helps that I work out so I tend to eat more than that at least a few times a week.

just changed to 1.5 pounds to lose because I was always hungry too... as I get closer to my goal... I have a net of 1710 (that is after exercise). I tend to eat between 2000 and 2500 in a day, depending on exercise... I always burn at least 300..... if you are hungry you do need to eat, lest you go into starvation mode....

  • My calories are set at 1300, but I eat anything between 1300-1800. It just depends on how hungry I am that day. :)

    1400 - 1900 and I exercise once a week
  • usually 1500-1800, when i do exercise: 1700-2000

I think you might be a bit confused. You'd be at a deficit even if you didn't workout considering you're a rather young male. 1770 is actually pretty low.

I'm currently at 1600/day. I started with the ole 1200, bumped up to 1300-1350 for a while, went up again to 1500, and last week jumped again to 1600. Once I drop another 10 pounds I'm probably going to up it again to 1700.

Depending on how intense my workout is, I will eat extra calories back.

About 2200-2300 total, which would probably be about 1800 plus exercise calories, to maintain. I lose a little over a half pound a week on 2000.

I might change my plan to only lose 1lb instead of 2lb since I am starving lately!

    3200-3400...still losing weight

I assume you are bulking, wouldn't you'd see the numbers going up, not down? (muscle weight)
  • 1200 cals aka the best amount ;)

I think usually 1200 - 1400 when I am trying to lose weight. I have a slow metabolism even when I exercise regularly.

    Thats what I'm hoping for!!

I use Dan's IPOARM, so my cals are set at 1660. But that doesn't change with exercise. And I'm steadily losing.

I go for 1200 a day regardless or how much exercise. I might go up to 1500 but never more than that.

  • I am maintaining and trying to focus on fitness so I eat anywhere from 1900 to 2500. When I was losing I ate 1500 to 1800. I tested my tdee calculations to figure out what I could truly eat to maintain and then decreased from there to lose. It was a long process but it was worth it.
