What are some foods that are hard for you to stay away from?

Homemade cookies...........I'm their slave0

Pepperoni pizza. It was never a favorite before I changed how I eat (in April 2011), but now it's my go to food for treats and if it's here, I have a hard time resisting it. I make a good low cal veggie pizza, but the rest of the family likes cheap Little Caesar's and expensive NY Style from a local place too. Hard to resist when they get it.0

ice cream and cookies for me! My husband and I were shopping in Sam's Club yesterday and I happened to walk past the ice cream cooler and I said "okay, get me away from the ice cream, now!"
We haven't had ice cream in the house since the 50 days I started this and homemade chocolate chip cookies once and I ate three but logged them into my food diary and was still under calories for that day.0 -
Ben & Jerrys
Pringles
Bacon Sandwiches
Brie
Doritos
Chocolate bars
Fizzy pop
Salted pistachio nuts
Cupcakes

Daim bars
Bagels with melted cheese.
I haven't had any of them in the last 2 weeks apart from my advent calendar chocolate - maybe I am not as addicted as I thought!0 -
Potato chips and dip
I know they have no nutritional value at all but I love 'em!0 -
biscuits, if I buy a packet, they're all gone in 2 minutes. The solution is not to go shopping when hungry0
-
sweets....I have a horrible sweet tooth
Potatoes.....They high in gluten, supposed to be eating low Gluten.0 -
Chocolate covered pretzels. Or, as I like to call them, little bites of evil. :mad:0

Sugar. Absolute devil0

I can control myself with everything but that port wine cheese spread. And possibly cheezits. I apparently have a lust for salty cheese products.
If I have a pot of that cheese spread in my fridge, it calls to me relentlessly until I just eat it all. So I never buy it.0 -

When I started MFP, my weak links were nutella, buttered toast and Leibniz chocolate biscuits. I can honestly say that logging/counting calories has just about cured me. I can still go a bit wayward if I'm not logging, but otherwise, moderation ftw.0

bacon
chocolate0 -
I could eat buttered spaghetti (or any pasta, really) or white rice with sauce (chinese food, anyone?) til I'm sick. There's no stopping my fork when those things are on the table. Om nom nom.0

Dairy. Even though I'm lactose intolerant.0

Cookies, cheesecake, chocolate. If I couldn't eat another chip for the rest of my life, I truly wouldn't care. Sugar/fat combo is my weakness.0
-
Anything fried/greasy/salty- I'm a total slut for chips. I can't eat just like.... you know... one serving size. Open mouth, pour in bag.
Cheese and crackers. YES.0 -
Dominican cake , it should be banned from ever being made!!0
-
I have an extremely sweet tooth so anything involving cake, cookies, muffins, chocolate is a challenge every time.0
-
oreos are the worst, then any other cookies or chocolate0

It doesn't help that I live a couple blocks away from the best candy shop in the world.
They make a peanut butter cup gelato that is mind blowing. They have many other favors too, like peanut butter and jelly, cookie dough, and others. OMG!
Also, peanut butter cups. Peanut M&Ms, and planters trail mix (I can eat buckets of that stuff in a sitting). I also have a thing for some pure sugar candies, like Runts. Oh man, I can eat like 20,000 Runts. I like to shove a big handful in my mouth all at once. Yum.
WTF is wrong with me. Lol0 -
Ice cream
Haribo
Dulce de leche
White chocolate anything
Tortilla chips
Banana, peanut butter, vanilla and maple syrup smoothie
Mmmmmmmm0 -

My other vice is olive and pepperoni pizza. Yum... It's making me hungry just thinking about it *goes and gets a clementine*0 -

Potatoes are gluten-free (as far as celiacs are concerned) until you put something on them. Some seasoned salts have maltodextrin, which is a no-go for true celiacs, less so for those who are just gluten sensitive.
I have a hard time with gluten-free cookies. If they manage to come home, they immediately go into the freezer because if they're out, they'll get eaten in a single sitting.
Other culprits:
- potato chips
- coca cola
- gf coffee creamer
- gf pizza
- chocolate
- peanut butter
- chocolate and peanut butter0 -
Definitely Ice Cream... we live in a very touristy area and there are some wonderful homemade ice cream spots that we visited liberally all last summer. SO liberally, in fact, that I gained almost 10 pounds on top of the 7 that had crept quietly back on since getting married last year! That's why I'm back in weight loss mode. Fortunately, all of those shops are closed up for the winter so the temptation isn't as strong. I have no problem walking by the freezer section of the grocery store, but that homemade stuff is irresistible! They reopen next April... let's hope my will power is well in place!0
