This is an old pic, but I weigh about the same here as I did when I started losing weight in March 2012, which was 338:

And this was taken yesterday, 232 pounds:

I still have a ways to go, but I WILL get there!

    Here's a few different before/afters I've made:

This is the picture that changed it all for me and I joined MFP (March 2012)
    Ribbetcollage33-2.jpg

This shows the difference just a few months can make (Aug 2012 to Nov 2012)
    Ribbetcollage37-1-1.jpg

This is when I SHOULD have come out of denial about my regain (November 2011)
    Ribbetcollage34-1.jpg

And THIS is very close my heaviest weight (before WLS) and, of course, me currently
    Ribbetcollage40-1.jpg

I have lost 56 lbs since around the first of Feb 2012, 45 lbs since joining MFP in mid-March 2012, and I have maintained a 197 lb total loss in just under 8 1/2 years (and that is after losing the majority of a 60'ish lb regain). Yes, regain after WLS is very real.

Such an inspirational thread, all of you are so amazing ^_^.

However, I have a bone to pick! :explode: So many of you wrote at the end of your posts (after your amazing before&after photos) that you still have a long way to go... There is no need to emphasize on that point, it has a somewhat negative connotation to it. It is so important to pause and reflect on just how much you have already achieved and rejoice! I used to get caught up in the mentality of "ugggghhh...nowhere near my goal yet" and it can be disheartening. Every step of the way, love and congratulate yourself and stride on in a positive light! :flowerforyou: Well done to everyone and keep it up!
