do you ladies like to hear....

Do you ladies like to hear that you are beautiful, hot, sexy, cute or what? Or are we men wasting our time because you don't believe it if we say it?

    I like to hear it.

know what leaves a greater impression and makes our entire week better and we will never doubt if you mean it?

    "I need your help."

    or

    "Im proud of you."

Personally, I love to hear any of those things! :) I've stopped immediately saying "no!!" as my instant reaction and try to say thank you and appreciate the compliment these days.

We may not belive it, but we like to hear it. Definately! Especially if it's unsolicited because it shows us you're at least trying!

Edited to say..."Cute" is one I always hated though. I never wanted to be "cute". I wanted to be sexy, hot, gorgeous, etc....

Yes, ladies like to hear those things. :)

Even if she says she doesn't believe you - if you stop saying it, she'll really start to doubt herself.

For me, "cute" or "adorable" doesn't cut it. I'd much rather be called beautiful or sexy...even though I won't believe him when he says it.

    When my husband says

    "You're beautiful"

    I respond with

    "No, you're beautiful!"

I could go either way. I don't need to hear it. I know he digs me.

Yes, I like to hear it.

No, I don't believe it. Well, sometimes I do. But I believe the man saying it means it even if I don't feel it myself.

I like hearing all those things. My BF is always singing, You Are So Beautiful to Me by Joe Cocker and it makes me laugh everytime but it also gives me those little butterflies that I got from the minute we met. :blushing:

    It's usually insincere.

When my boyfriend says it I love to hear it, insincere or not.

Only if it is genuine. I can tell if someone is being fake. But the few who say it and really mean it, it means so very much coming from them. I love to hear it. =)

i like hearing im beautiful, hot sexy and cute don't really phase me.
I still remember the first time my ex called me beautiful.... i just woke up and was at his house, didnt have any makeup with me or hair products and i did the best i could with what little i had. I was sitting on his couch watching tv with him and i looked over to see him just staring at me, i asked what was up and he whispered that i was the most beautiful person he's ever met.
It still shocks me as im used to wearing makeup all the time and i couldnt help but blush beet red :p
  • I love being called beautiful and sexy. I also like to hear specific things that you find beautiful or sexy about me. The more I hear it, the more I begin to believe that you mean it!

Speak for yourself. Sometimes a compliment is just a compliment with no underlying motive. Personally I like when strangers tell me I'm lovely - it throws me for a loop and really brightens my day.

I agree with the 'only if it's genuine'. I love to hear my boyfriend say things like that randomly. He may be having one of those moments where he's thinking in his head, always glad to hear him share it with me :)

From my husband? Yes. From random people? Not so much. :)

Yes, I love to hear words of encouragement. But honestly, if you didn't say it when I was overweight, don't start saying it now. Otherwise if you stop saying it at some point, for whatever reason, I can only assume it's because of how I look, and therefore, there's something wrong with me.

If you mean it, you can't go wrong.
