Well I work in gym membership sales and work on commission so I'm pretty stoked. As far as my workouts go though - I'm not concerned because I feed off the energy of the gym. Hopefully everyone else will too!

You are right about the newbies; of course I was one of those newbies last year and 115 lbs later, here I am. It is not always that way.

What I hate are the gym tours... they stop to point out the weights right when you are deep in a squat making a face grunting...not that I do that...........

This is why having your own personal gym at home would be beneficial..then you won't have to complain about others tryin to make a change.

And with that...I leave you with this, my peeps.

I'm looking forward to January! My birthday is in it AND by then there should be plenty of snow on the mountain for snowboarding <3<3<3

I went on hiatus this year, and traveled. I'd like to again... but eh.

I just hate how the gym parking lot gets ridiculous you have to park in a completely different lot/across the busy street! Not complaining about the walk itself, but when you're in a rush, or it's snowy/icy... i don't like when people take my parking. lol

Trying to get all my good workouts in this month, because in about 3 weeks the gym is going to be overrun with New Year's Resolution newbies. Then, after about two weeks, they'll see that their shadows aren't getting any smaller and go back home, like Punxsutawney Phil.
Not all. I was one of those newbies!

I'm not dreading January, but that's probably because I don't look for ridiculous reasons to be pessimistic about the future. Life is good.

    *BOOM!* I like that!

I guess we'll see if the resolutioners are gung-ho enough to be there at 5 AM. If it's crazy, I'll probably just do Insanity for three weeks. It won't be the same as my barbell workouts, but at least it's better than running in the cold.
