  • OMG. You poor thing. I can't imagine what you've been through. All of that sounds like a horrific nightmare and I can see from your pictures that your positive vibe, strong spirit and smile saw you through it all. I have Hashimoto's with complications (after several years they still can't find the right level of replacement thyroid medication to help me feel ok) and I think THAT's rough!

    Anyway, you look amazing. Kudos to your well-deserved success! Wishing you only good health!

    Kinda hits close to home for me. I am 5'4, was 257lbs...having gall stone troubles and also kidney stones. I'm at 190 now, and your after pic is so inspiring! I hope I look as good as that when I reach my goal! Great job! Glad you're health is so much better now, too! :)

    You're an inspiration! I damaged my lower back in 2009 and I'm having trouble finding a workout routine that is strenuous enough to burn lots of calories and build muscles but won't make me reach for my pain meds. Any tips/ideas? (Right now I can 'swim/doggy paddle' for 45 mins and bike steady for 20 mins as well as walk my two dogs for 30-60 mins)
