Waking: between 38 and 44, depending on where I am in my training, how hard I worked out the day before and how much sleep I got

Today, sitting at my desk: 46.

I swear, I have an unusually high heart rate. I've been working out for the last 2 years. I do BB programs. Most currently, i've been doing turbofire and weight lifting for the past 3 months, 6 days a week. My Resting HR is 73.

During my entire 60 minute work out (turbofire) my HR was 180+ hitting 204 during a HIIT.

    Crazy.

Lately around 55. It's always been high (like 85). But the last year or so it's dropped considerably.

Im not sure what mine is upon waking up, but if standing still mine is generally 58-62, but have had it as low as 55.

So any ideas what it is supposed to be? I thought it was more typical to be in the 60's or low 70's, not in the 50's.

I'm like you - my resting is around 65 and when I'm doing cardio (usually running) I feel good at about 183-185.

60-100 is normal. Wonder why so many of us are lower?

When I wake up and am just barely conscious, it's been as low as 46-48. Generally awake but before any kind of working out.. 55-58ish. Post-workout, I rarely get it to drop under 60 before sleep.

  • Usually around 54, not bad for a 49 year old gal!
