When I was working with my trainer earlier this year her had me doing deadlifts, but he had me using the trap bar. I have never used the regular bar to do them, but it just looks easier too do them being a large person myself with allot left to go too use the tap bar. I used to love the deadlifts... My trainer had me up over 400 lbs in just a few months.... And to me that felt like an accomplishment, since at that Time, I was able to do one rep of right at my weight at that Time.....

    great job!!!

i wish there was another fat girl lifting in the gym with me.

i recently started wide grip deadlifts because i screwed up my elbow (make sure you keep those arms straight!!) and it easier to fit my boobs and belly in when i sqaut down to reach the bar.

What an enormous set of weights! I can't even imagine lifting something that heavy. I do the dinky little ones attached to the machines D; usually about 10-20 reps of 30-40lbs on rotation -_- I feel like a chump now lol

You're amazing, keep it up! This proves that there is no such thing as losing XXX kg/lbs. before starting to lift heavy. I hope some skeptical ladies out there will read this thread and be encouraged to lift.

Outstanding! I just added deadlifting to my routine this week. At 80 lbs., though, I'm feeling a little wimpy compared to you. :blushing:
