Love this! So many people think being fat means being pretty much incapable of any exercise. You prove them all wrong!

You are awesome! And inspiring....I doubt I could dead lift half of that weight. Great job!

That might be true for now, but you just have to start.

When I first started out I picked two goals. To squat 100kgs and to Dead-lift 100kgs (220lbs). I picked those numbers because they seemed impossible.

    Two weeks ago I did 100kg squats x 5.

    And I'll be dead-lifting 100kg soon.

All you have to do is start.

Crazy strong!! That's a mighty fine looking dead lift too. Back straight, scapula retracted. Nice.

Plus if it were easy, it wouldn't be so fun!
When you deadlift, you get this overwhelming sense of personal bada$$ery that would never happen if it was easy!

also, the lighter you start, the better you'll be able to progress. It will feel amazing getting PRs every week for a while!

What these ladies said. You'll surprise yourself once you start. I started 10 months ago at 61 years old and never thought I could have a personal best over 300 lbs. Never even thought about that. I've been there for a month.Personal best on squats and deadlifts. One foot in front of the other.
