Girls that are 5'4/5'5: What is your goal weight?
Replies

mine is 145 started at 189my change later when I hit my target0

125-135 is the range I'm shooting for, but if I like the way I look at 145, I'd be happy to stop there too.0

My goal is to not give a damn what the scale says.
If you've reached or are close to your goal weight, and not happy with your body, losing MORE weight might not be the answer. Strength training and even weight gain might be.

I'm 5'4" and my starting weight was 154lbs. As of this morning's weigh-in, I'm at 130 lbs. with 5 more to go to hit goal weight. Once I reach my goal weight of 125, I plan to re-evaluate. I think 120-122 may be realistic, but I'm more concerned with toning and adding more muscle.0

122
but...I am fully prepared to change that when my stomach is flat and my thighs are toned....heavy weights are on my menu to accomplish that...anybody want to add me as a friend feel free..
I used mostly healthy eating, cardio and light weights to just get my energy and stamina back...but now that I've reached that goal I'm ready for more weights....0 -
I'm between 5'4 and 5'5 and my goal is 122. I'm pretty small boned and I remember feeling (and looking!) pretty darn good at any weight between 115 and 129. Plus my spine was much happier without a gut to lug around.0

You will notice that your goals will keep changing once your reach your original goal. I did have a goal of 125 and I am at 131 pounds now. My goal is to no longer focus on the scale as long as my body keeps changing then i'm happy. Screw the scale!0

I am 5'4" eaxactly.
My current weight is 165.6 (SW on MFP was 171.6), and my 1st goal weight is 145. My UGW is 130/135!
But it feels good to be only 20.6 pounds from my first goal!0 -
My goal weight is between 170-150, although all the charts state I should be round the 125-151. I've lost 69 pounds and have 60 more to go before I hit the 170 mark, then I will decide if I am happy at that size. If not, then I will alter - i have issues w/ the thought of what I will look like at this size. I will NEVER in my adult life, be that small and with my scoliosis, I'm utterly terrorifed I will look horrible.
But, I will tackle that hurdle when I get there.0 -

You are just amazing
GW is 130ish0 -
5' 4", currently I weigh 96lb. I was aiming for 93 before Christmas but I really don't think that's going to be possible!0
-
135-140.0

I'm 5'4" and I'd like to be around 130. When I was younger (I'm 50), I weighed 120 but I think at my age, a little more looks better and I am very muscular too.0
-
I am 5'4" and my goal weight is 125. Haven't been there in oh...8 years.0
-
5'5"
SW - 236
GW - 130 ies with a good amount of lean muscle.0 -
I'm 5'5" and had a target of 120. I'm 124 right now and could probably start maintaining and focusing on body recomposition - I'm a size 2 or 4 depending on the brand with a 25.5" waist. Losing more weight will probably just make my bones a little more pronounced without fixing my trouble spots. I need to tone up and build some muscle, so I think I'll end up around 130 when it's all said and done.0
-
I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 125. I started MFP @ 155. (My heaviest was 163). My current weight is 131. When I get to 125, I may reassess and decide if I want to go lower. Ultimately, I just want to be healthy.0
-
5'4'', Current weight is 140, goal weight is 127. Might seem like a strange number, but it's the number I always feel my best at0
-
5'5" 133 lbs., medium frame.
My original goal was 135, then decided 130 would get rid of my belly pooch. Now I'm thinking exercise instead of weight loss. I have been doing the 30 Day Shred and that is making the difference I was looking for, I think I am close enough weight wise.0 -
I'm 5'4. Started at 163lbs after having my 3rd baby. My goal was 135. When I got there I changed it to 130..when I got there I changed it to 125..LOL. I am at 128 now...I'd like 120, but I will be content at 125. I feel great.0

The highest weight I have been thus far in my life is 262...
As of Sept 2012, when i was tired of making excuses, I was at 238
As of Dec 1st, right around the time I started on MFP, i was at 213
First major goal, 180 (ooh this is actually going to happen...#excited!)
I can see my natural body shape/figue, so I'm guessing, around 120-135. But I haven't been at that body weight since I was 9 years old (and I'm 29 now), so I have to take this in pieces.
I will re-evaluate this thing after I hit 180...0 -
I'm about 5'4" (creeping on 5'5") and 29 years old. My goal is 170 but, like many others I see, I will reevaluate once I get there. I have a slightly larger frame, so I really can't imagine myself at 130.0
-
I'm 5'3 and 26 years old. SW: 200, CW:155 GW: 140. I'm on a plateau since end of October, but I hope that in January the scale will continue to go down. If I achieve to reach 140, I might reevaluate my goal, but another 15 pounds is my main goal.0
-
5'4", and I thought my goal was 125, but I got to 127 and started strength training....I've lost an inch from waist and hips, but I've gained 2 pounds. So now I'm ignoring the scale and focusing on measurements--and I'd say I'm where I want to be.0
-
I'm 5'5 and started at 245 now at 158,I'm going to re-evaluate my goals once I get to 150 but hoping to get down to 125-130 eventually0
-
I'm 5'5" my start weight (from starting MFP) was 145lbs (heaviest 163lbs) I'm currently at 123lbs with my goal set to 120lbs. When I get to 120lbs I'll re-evaluate but for now I think anything under 120lbs will make me look too thin.0
-
5'5 and my GW is 135, but I know once I get there I'll probably change it to 125 or 120.0
-
I'm 5'4" and my realistic goal weight is 135. I would love to get down into the 120s, but I'm at 167 now. Setting a realistic goal is worth it.0
-
I'm 5'5 and 145.6 lbs right now. My starting weight was 185-I weighed myself a few days before I gave birth to my son 9 weeks ago. My 1st goal is 135lbs and then I'll see if I want to go any lower, but definitely will focus more on BF% than the scale once I get there.0
-
I'm 5'5 and my current goal is 130. That might change once I get there though. I plan on focusing more on bf% than the number on the scale at that point.0
