    I try not to think about this, because no alive, human man would come close. It is hard, though, since you run into the archetypes in movies, books, TV...

    I have some hard and fast rules-- must have a job, must be independent, must be funny and responsible. I'd prefer no kids, but if we are going to play the fantasy game, I would say Michael Bluth (Arrested Development) would be a game changer. ;)

    The "perfect" man doesn't exist. They all have their flaws same with women. If I just HAD to choose, he has to be:

    smart
    funny
    sarcastic
    serious
    spontaneous
    taller than me
    semi-romantic
    have a good job
    have a car
    preferably not live with his momma anymore
    close with his family
    likes to eat
    I like tattoos and piercings as long as they aren't everywhere
    oh and most importantly...must love dogs :)

    I could probably throw out a physical description but to be honest I end up crushing on all different body types & colors.

    As for personality, there's many good traits but what I gravitate towards is:

    1) Guys who make me laugh & can bounce off humor with me
    2) Guys who have interesting stories (Travel, adventures, funny moments, personal experiences, facts, ideas)
    3) Guys who have confidence (Will come talk to me, say what's on his mind, isn't afraid of getting attention from a group of people, goes out & gets what he wants).

    Not to say I like a big clown or someone who's the center of attention all the time (Too much gets annoying).

    I met him when he was in my town, I was the caterer for his show, incredibly sweet, we loved him and his band, so friendly and chill. They wanted us on stage and security said no because our passes weren't for the stage so Kevin, the fiddler, ran to the bus and got us the friends and family passes and we were up there the whole show. Those boys drink a lot during the concert and they're all so chatty, it was the best gig ever.


    I like men who don't cling, who are a bit nerdy, and don't mind that I prefer night running and knitting to going to bars/out.

    As for physical stuff, none of the guys I've dated look remotely alike, white with long hair, African with a French-African accent and short hair and built like a god, Jordanian 12yrs my senior with the prettiest eyes in the world. I date people with a good story.

    My perfect man... Someone who gets my sick sense of humor and still loves me and is my biggest supporter always... Hmmm... I think I have found him...he is 13 years my junior, funny as ****, and always has my back.... 6yrs and going strong... :smile:

    My fiance is my perfect man. He is a little older than me (he's 24, I'm 22), darker skin, great sense of humor, sweet, romantic, smart, hardworking, loves kids, family is important, willing to do whatever it takes to make our relationship the best it can be, loves me for me, he is my biggest supporter.

    I married my perfect man four years ago on the beach in Mexico. He is kind, romantic, funny, considerate, quiet, smart, a great cook, extremely handy, and the love of my life! The day we married was like a fairy tale, but every day since then I wake up with a smile on my face thanking God for sending me this wonderful man! Oh, and when we met, I knew he wasn't my "type", but since my "type" led me to a long and unhappy marriage, I decided to go out of my comfort zone....best decision I ever made!!!

    I'm wishing but I have a feeling I will die a lonly old woman.

    He is tall. I am guessing around six feet. (I'm rather short too.)

    Dark hair. Either dark eyes or dark blue eyes.

    Body: Good body on him. Not too much muscle though. A girl can wish for abs right?

    He's carning and loving.

    I can't figure out his personailty. Only that I know he's out there. Somewhere.

    I am just too...scared or just to..uhh..stuck to go looking. u.u.

    My husband is perfect for me! He's so wonderful. And I was nodding as I read this post ^^. All the guys I dated before him (or even liked) who fell into the "my type" category were so wrong for me, but my husband is nothing like what I thought my "type" was, and it's better this way!

    OK, ladies so this might be funny but i am really curious!! My friend is into country boys and she prefers light men. It's funny, though because I'm so opposite! I am into dark men! I can't help that. My perfect man would be tall, dark, have a goatee (yummy!) be a total SWEETHEART and a REAL MAN not a pretty boy who wears skinny jeans like i do. (i know some of you like the pretty boy look though and that's cool! ) Don't be embarrassed.. Tell me about your perfect man! :) Remember, this may be total fantasy, lol

    MY perfect man: shares the same beliefs.
    does NOT have to know where I'm at 24/7.

    My perfect man would be a guy who's is generous, caring, supportive, open to other peoples opinions, funny, can be goofy at times, love to live life to the fullest, believes strongly in his religion, likes to have fun but knows when enough is enough, playful at times but serious when need be, respects me and loves me for who i am, we can be crazy together, treat people with respect, helps around the house, and respects his parents and mine :)

    ^ I have to say of all them. I have this one the cutest. To me, this love. You don't need all those over the top romantic things to prove love, some times, it is just the opposites that make it all worth while. I am so happy for you both.
