In all seriousness this is actually a good question that I have pondered. I'm tempted to wear the HRM in the name of science (and pleasure). There's always that funny little comment afterwards like "damn that was a good workout!". Hmmm to be continued. If I ever get to throwing this HRM on, than I will bring this thread back to life. , and no it won't be like a million year from now. :P
I wear a body media fit from time to time ( so does my wife ) trust me It isn't as much of a burn as you would think.

I actually don't because I hear that people over estimate how much they burn during it. Plus, it's not on the list of exercises, and I'm plain too lazy to search for it on google and manually enter it. I just kind of include it as my "moderate" lifestyle. Lol.

All in all, average sexual activity ranks as mild to moderate in terms of exercise intensity. As for oxygen consumption, it comes in at about 3.5 METS (metabolic equivalents), which is about the same as doing the foxtrot, raking leaves, or playing ping pong. Sex burns about five calories a minute; that's four more than a man uses watching TV, but it's about the same as walking the course to play golf. If a man can walk up two or three flights of stairs without difficulty, he should be in shape for sex.
