What is wrong with people??!!??!?!?!

A SHOCKING new weight-loss solution promises to help dieters shed pounds - by pumping food out of their stomach before it is digested.
The AspireAssist Aspiration Therapy System works by surgically inserting a tube which runs from the patient's stomach to the surface of the skin.
This tube is then fitted with a Skin-Port, around 1in across, which can be kept closed, or opened to allow access to the contents of the stomach.
Twenty minutes after eating a meal, the patient can attach a specially-designed pipe to the Skin-Port, allowing the contents of the stomach to empty out.
For a second go at removing their meal, they can then inject fresh water into the stomach through the pipe before draining it out, mixed up with more food.
The makers claim their method will remove around a third of every meal from the body before it can be absorbed in the intestines.
The device was created by Dean Kamen - who invented transport device the Segway - working alongside a team of doctors.
It is claimed patients could lose 1-2lbs a week or even more using AspireAssist, which is touted as a cheaper alternative to a gastric bypass.
The makers say their method should be combined with healthier food choices, exercise, and smaller portions to achieve lasting weight loss.
And while they recommend performing the procedure after every meal, they add that as lifestyle improves, the patient will not have to do it as often.
But the method does have its limits - as some foods have been reported to clog the device, including cauliflower, broccoli, Chinese food, chips and steak.
Expert Tam Fry from the National Obesity Forum said: "I haven't seen anything as horrific as this before
"You are supposed to eat and then digest, not pump your food out.
"It seems they are trying to come up with a quick-fix for lazy people. It is far better to eat properly and in the correct amounts."
The AspireAssist has been trialled on 24 obese patients, and has already been approved for use in some parts of Europe.

No one likes working toward goals anymore. Everyone wants results/success with the least amount of effort put in, regardless of how crazy it sounds.

Anorexia/Bulemia without the tooth decay from acid erosion caused by repeated vomiting. Wow. (sarcasm font inserted here) Sounds like a great idea.

Wow. They tested it on a whole 24 people? Seriously? That's a pretty low sample rate.

Also, this is disgusting. It's surgical purging.

    No. Just... no.

As long as there is money to be made, somebody is going to find a way to take advantage of other people's desperation. And someone else is going to allow them to do it.
