Not what I expected.....
You were expecting something about rollberblading in parking lots wearing Daisy Dukes?0 -
I am the same as you, eating healthy is no struggle for me, im not picky and I enjoy cooking so making healthier choices wasnt a big deal, but restricting my calories to 1200 a day was terrible in the beginning. I was a cranky biotch. Also, getting into a workout routine that works for me is an ongoing struggle because me schedule changes so frequently.0

I finally realized that you have to MAKE time cause for me there's never a good time to go lol0 -

For me, it was finding cute hairstyles to wear to the gym....wait...no, that wasn't it.0 -

Portion control and only eating when I was hungry as opposed to grazing all the time0

SAYING NO TO PEER PRESSURE
Nothing worse than having your fam and friends bug you about the way you eat or workout lol.0 -
Taking the positive encouragement rather than the negative. This is MY journey, no one elses.0

for you in the beginning? I'd say getting up and going to the gym daily. Eating healthy is fine by me, but I took FOREVER to get out the door
Thinking that I had to go full-on restrictive with food selection and meal timing. I really had no clue that it could be as simple as "move more, eat less". Once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing.0 -
I used to wait until everybody went to bed, then sneak down to the kitchen and have dinner all over again.
The hardest part remains having to go to bed without that full-as-a-tic feeling.
Before bed I just like to eat so much I hurt.
That was the hardest part to all this.0 -
Just getting started..
I feel like there is a backstory to all of the post about using other peoples pictures.0 -
I don't go to the gym, but the same is basically true for me. I actually made very few dietary changes. I've been eating healthy for decades, but I eat too much to maintain a healthy weight without exercise. Periodically I tend to ignore that and that's when I gain weight.0

Eating better was the hardest part. I remember my first day logging. I had Pizza Hut and after I tallied up, I was appalled and after putting the 2nd wing down, realizing I was still hungry.0

Hardest part was wading through the endless BS and myths surrounding the whole "diet" community (including these forums).0

Getting rid of my sugar/starch cravings. I love working out and have always been pretty athletic, but going low carb (I have health needs that make it necessary, not just my weight loss goals) was seriously rough at the start. Now, though, I love it and have become a more creative and better cook as a result!0

did you season your Wok first?
that helps0 -
Getting past the first couple of days. I'd literally tried about twenty times before only to fall on the third or fourth day because I just couldn't do it. Little did I know, the painful cravings would go away after a week or so.0

Eating enough calories. MFP set me at 1300 calories when I started out at over 260lbs.
I am still here after losing and gaining due to eating too little for so long....0 -

Nah, I'd say posting nekkid pics of other forum members on a public forum is worse.0
