      I have never licked my plate or bowl clean, not even as a child did I do this. My mom was lucky to get me to eat, I use to spread my food across then plate to make it look like I ate but I never licked it.

      Some friends and I ordered Taco Bell while very under the influence---I cannot stress that enough. I remember digging wrist deep in the platter of nachos (Nacho bell Grande or whichever one is the largest that they have). In about two minutes, my plate was picked clean with the exception of sour cream and cheesy spots---which I thoroughly licked clean.

      I woke up that following morning with both cheese and sour cream in my hair, on the sides of my mouth, and even on my nose...Worth it.

      Put a piece of red velvet cake in front of me and watch what happens. There will not be a spot of cream cheese frosting left.

      Except when I'm in a restaurant with someone I'm trying to impress. Then I have to mind my manners and use my finger.

      There was a time when i did both these things, but since i started multiplying i've reverted to using my fingers like my primal ancestors did. Annoys my wife that i taught the kids this but that feeling changed the moment i caught her doing it when she thought no one was around.
