How old is to old to get your first Tattoo??

When I was working in a tattoo studio we had a lady that came in on her 80's birthday for a tattoo. She was telling us that her recently passed away husband had lots of tattoos and she'd always admired them. I memory of him she got a little tattoo on her shoulder.
