    There are several factors to high calorie burning. Duration, Intensity and your weight. The more you way the more calories are burned. Everyone has their favorite cardio machine or workout that they love. I too love Insanity. But do what works for you. Whatever you choose..... go hard or go home!

    I'm always seeing people that I am friends with burning 400-500 calories doing some type of exercise. How are you achieving such high calorie burns? What is your favorite calorie burning workout?
    hiking, or things that you can do for an extended period of time. Intense cardio like jumping rope burn calories faster but you easily burn out so in the end you don't burn as much. Also, the larger you are the more calories you burn so some people can burn that easy.

    Running or Insanity. I strongly recommend you get at Heart Rate Montior. That's how you know exactly how many calories you are burning which is always more or less than what MFP says you are burning.
    What is a good one, please?

    I just got a Polar FT7. I like it a lot. Polar makes a good product.
