What an awesome show, especially for a first concert. Absolutely the loudest rock band
I ever heard live. Tom Petty was pretty loud also at a Midnight Special taping I attended
in LA back in 1978, here is that one is in fact. It was loud because I was fairly close to the
speakers. They played good that night.

I've seen them a few times. The first they were opening for Aerosmith on teh Nine Lives tour. They sounded good but didn't really go all out. Saw them a few years later at the Hampton Beach Casino in NH and they had the Double Trouble with them. (SRV's back up band) really great show.0 -
What the hell? People can remember this kind of thing? I think I've got it pegged but am not sure, feel like I'm missing something :frown:
It would have been in the early-mid 90s, so the problem's not related to age
I've only been to 4 concerts in my life so it's pretty easy to remember. :laugh:0 -
Not telling - too embarrassing! I'll tell you the most recent concert I went to though! Leon Russell and Little Feat!0
