Struggle all you like, I just asked for a name

I said we can't have cats yet as they can't get outside until we move to a house and I'm allergic to dogs (plus we're not at home enough). And I like them. Look at his cutie face......

Just make your cats indoor cats! It's better and safer for them, anyway.

I've looked into it but you need to have them from kittens to keep them inside as its unfair if they have been used to outside. We thought it would be very unsettling for them if we are still going to be moving within a year. And we would have to make a LOT of changes to our flat to be safe and suitable for unsupervised kittens! Having cats was one of the things I was really looking forward to about moving I've been around them my whole life...

Aww he's cute. I'd suggest Dinky Jon. A friend came up with it for my sugar glider. Completely random, but I love it.

Side note, Syrians really need a larger cage, you can build him a bin cage for cheap, and he'd LOVE it, here's a link:

They don't look as pretty, but he'd be in heaven :)

Don't worry, the pics only show one level of a great big cage. The wheel one I took off the top levels to be able to encourage him to use the wheel.

I know this sounds weird but... Teddy? I just feel like he's a Teddy!

Maybe Richard would be a different name :P or Ronald. Or Roger! Just thoughts! I know these are oddballs! haha

    I like Teddy

I think he looks like a Gunther. No special reason, just the first name that popped in my head when I saw the pics.

He's a cute fellow. I like Gunther, too.

I'm struggling with the fact that you are in your late twenties and have a pet hamster. Sorry, just seems odd to me, but each to his/her own I suppose.

Wow, a really dumb, judgemental remarkl. When Hubby & I first moved in together I was 45 he was 38... and we got a couple guinea pigs. We both love animals, couldn't have a dog or a cat and our little cuddlers were perfect. Guess that makes us... what... immature? Stupid?
