Short 5 feet ladies... what is your goal weight?

    Yesss shorties! Love the short lady posts :)

    I'm 4'10", currently 118 lbs. I started out at 149.8 lbs (HW: 187 in high school), and I'm aiming for 105. I've got an 'in the meantime' goal of 110, as my tendency so far has been to reach certain goals and re-assess whether or not I want to continue losing. I've considered 100-96 lbs as my UGW, but that still seems incredibly low to me despite all the research and testimonials I've read about shorter ladies getting to 100 lbs or lower. It's always a journey, and it's always individual :)

    Just an FYI on what my lifestyle for eating and working out is like: I eat 1800+ cals a day, am losing around 1.5 lbs a week, and I work out intensely 6x a week with an active rest day on Sundays (walking the dog, yoga, etc.) I'm also training for a half marathon and doing lots of strength work, because my goal is to be a strong shorty, all in all. If I reach a point where I'm no longer losing and I'm gaining, then I'm just going to focus on BF% after that (aiming for 21%-18%)

    Good luck to everyone! I didn't think it'd be possible to get as low as I am now, but it keeps getting better every week. Keep going!

    I'm 5'5", and weigh 150 lbs. I am just looking to get back down to 140 if I can. The last time I was below that weight was when I was too sick to eat. Just depends on your muscle mass and what you're looking for from your body.

  • I'm 5'2, my doc said don't try for less than 120 but anything between 120 and 140 is all good. So i figure halfway between the two is where i should be.

    Slightly shorter, I'm 4ft 10", and I currently weigh 99lbs, my goal weight is 91lbs, any lower and I start to look really ill so that's a good goal for me:)

    WOW! I am 4'10" as well and I was aiming for 130lbs currently 143lbs and I thought that was alot...

    But I'm exactly 5'0 and weigh 99lbs (but trust me that's all flub)
    So I'm actually aiming to lose fat and build muscle, so my goal weight is around 105-110lbs xx

    I am 4' 10" and my healthy weight range is between 89 lbs - 119 lbs. I currently weight 131.2 lbs and am aiming for 105 lbs - 110 lbs.

    I'm 5ft2 and currently weight 146.4lbs.

    My ultimate goal weight is around the 120lbs mark :) I really want to try and hit this goal before I go on holiday in June
  • I'm 5'0 and my goal weigh is 110, and if I feel that I could lose a little more then maybe 105. I was 115 at my smallest, and I still had a bit of a belly so its a guessing game for me.

    Is the 1800 calorie intake including calories burned or your net intake? How many during you burn in a normal workout?

    I'm 5'0" and currently 122. My goal is 100. After having a c section, my mid section is squishy and not very attractive. And, it's where most of my extra weight is, and my thighs.

    I'm 5'2" and my ugw is 109 because I want that 1 extra brownie point pound. :)

    Right now I'm 153 after losing 2lbs the past few weeks. Most of my life (the 20yrs I've been this height) I've been 100-115. I had some health issues occur that caused me to not be able to be active & gain weight, but my health has improved enough finally to exercise. I was a dancer since age 3 & plan on getting back!
