Just completed day 6 of L1. blehhh. Glass of water then bedtime for me.
I'm not planning on taking any rest days. It's only 20 minutes! Too damn right. It's worth powering through the day 3/4 stiffness because even if you take a rest day, your muscles will still be sore the day after that.0 -
I did 10 minuites of the 20 minutes >_< im in such a bad shape. And Im gonna keep going until i get it right
Ive seen people post amazing results, so this is definitely something I wanna do.0 -
I'm on day 16, and I've lost 2lbs, and 2 1/2 inches. I'm on L2, Day 7 right now. I only did 9 days of L1, then started L2, cause I was bored .
I'm not bored anymore, lol! I'm pretty sure I'm going to die each time I do it, ha!0 -
OH one more thing. I Just wanted to share how excited I was tonight that I could kick myself in the bum with my left leg. Yesss! Gotta work on the other leg doing that.. my right thigh is about an inch bigger than my left, lol, but it's an improvement I think!0

I am going to start Jillian's Ripped in 30.... Need so motivation/encouragement along the way....add me as a friend if you've recently started any JM workout and we can keep each other accountable!0

Level 1, day 6 finished today, and every day it gets easier. The only part I have trouble with is the 30 second jumping jacks, 30 second jump rope, 30 second jumping jacks, 30 second jump rope, kills my calfs!0

Level 1 Day 6 completed. Was going to go from 2kg up to 5, but decided to only go up to 3.5, which was great, just that little bit more of a challenge, but still able to complete with perfect form (just).
Add me for support!0 -
Day 2 of level 3 hard. muscles have been hurting from all the plyometrics0

Today was my 3rd of 30DS on level 1! The first day it kicked my *kitten* and today I noticed a little more strength in my arms. I was able to go all the way with one of the strength moves that I wasn't able to on the first day, even though I was afraid my arms were going to fall off.0

Today will be Day 2 of Level 1. I was planning on doing it 4 days a week but you all have inspired me to do 6. I am going to do it to music like a PP suggested. Thanks for that.0

Level 2 Day 3 done..0

On day five today and I'm not expecting results right away but I've gained a pound!0

I just started today! It's great having someone tell you what exercises you need to do instead of trying to figure out what you should be doing on your own. It's also pretty awesome that it's on youtube.
I'm also starting to job every other day-ish... so I bet I'm going to be pretty sore by the end of the week!0 -
L1 D4 just finished....hoping to see great results.. Endurance-wise it does get easier and my leg muscles are quite as sore today.0

I started last week, I did 4 days consecutively and then things got busy for me and although I have gone to the gym and taken some classes I have not done the shred since SaturdayI plan to do it this evening when I get home, I guess I'll just start over as if it is day one...0

Finished L2 D5 today. Keep going, it gets better!0

Yep, started on Monday and have lost 2.4 pounds so far but only managed the gym once so far...terrible motivation! Anyone got any tips on getting motivated? I seem to find a million other things to do than exercise!0

30 day shred is a 20 minute circuit training programme done by Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser USA. Works on the basis of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute of abs done 3 times. Very little rest but that's why it's only 20 minutes long.
There are 3 levels and you do each level for 10 days.
The videos are available on YouTube so you can watch it before you give it a go, which I recommend.0 -
do you go buy it or just watch it on you tube if so where do u buy it from0

I haven't bought it - I watch it on YouTube on our iPad when I do it. You can buy it from Amazon for only £8, but for me why pay if it's free.0 -
Did Level 1 Day 1 today. My HRM said I burned 149 calories. My average exertion was 60% max heart rate. I don't think I hit 85% very much so I'll hit it a little harder tomorrow and try to burn a few more calories. Today I did some of the modified examples because I was afraid it would be too hard in the end. But for 20-25 minutes I can do more and in a few days I'll be trying to keep up with the high intensity examples :happy:0
