I'm one hell of a good cook. Pretty sure I snagged my wife with my cooking skills. And can bake the *kitten* out of a loaf of bread

Ok I need recipes... Bread baking is probably my weakest thing in the kitchen.

Ask me about it later, I can give you the science behind it.

I think I either over kneed or under kneed.... It always tastes good but the texture just isn't what I want.

Pretty sure you're under-kneading, then. It's REALLY hard to over-knead bread dough. Ask me how I know. :/

Also, when in doubt, Bread Machine.

Learned how to cook at a young age. My mom, love her as I do, was not the greatest cook. I learned and it really helps to be able to eat right AND make some tasty food.

When I was younger and single, it was great to be able to have a second date at my place and eat something that looked and tasted good.

My wife couldn't cook mac n cheese when we met. She is pretty darn good at whipping up some tasty foods now.

The biggest compliment I have ever been paid was when we had my mother in law's 65th bday party. Asked her what she wanted for her bday and she told me she wanted me to smoke a few briskets and ribs for the party. That was it.

I picked up a brand new one from Goodwill for $15. Check Goodwill every other week or so, they usually have them.

If only they ever had attachments for my stand mixer.... I want a pasta attachment.
  • While the wife and I both cook, I'm the one who usually whips up the more "gourmet-style" stuff. She loves it when we have a home-made brunch with my tasty Eggs Florentine as the main entree. And like the others have said, it never hurts to produce the home cooked meal for a date night!! Can't help but gets some brownie points there..................

Nope! Knowing how to cook is bad *kitten*. You don't have to live on ramen noodles and microwaveable dinners. Plus, as the ladies have already said they love it. So cook on!

What would be the point of not eating it if you took the time to bake it?!

I like to bake... I try to just eat one and send the rest to work or make the teenagers eat it.

I cook every day, not so much with baking and still working on my grilling.
  • It's all good if a guy cooks or bakes, but he's gotta be able to let me help him because I love to cook/bake as well!

The couple that cooks together........uhh, looks together?
....I don't know where I'm going with this...
