if i only want $1100, that's my business. you shouldn't judge me. $1100 is enough for me. i just don't have room in my wallet for more than that.0

No. You make more $ right now.
Or just send me another new trick. ;D0 -
LOL I spend that much before lunch. LOL.0

You're a man. Anything under $1850 and YOU GONNA DIE0

To retire on? No. To take you me and our wives out for a fabulous dinner in the City next time you come east? Heck yeah!
How's that for context?0 -
Is $1200 enough money?
A thread about context.
It depends in which context?0 -
Before taxes or after?0

No matter what it is, its never enough :grumble:0

Unless that's an average per week after tax that's insufficient...0

BTW, i just spent $320 on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. i believe that's what's known as spending "dirty".0

For dinner? Yes. For a holiday? Maybe. As a salary? Probably not0

Are we talking daily, weekly, monthly, yearly?
I say it's more than enough for a day, definitely doable for a week. I can have some fun with $1200/week.
For one night ... hell, I don't even know what I'd do with that amount for a single night. I don't think I could spend that much!!0 -
I know loads of people who exist on a lot less than this, but they usually fail, so I say definitely need to earn this at least, but for great success you would be best to follow the link below:

Get a bigger wallet! lol!0 -
Only for certain people. For most people... no, it's not enough. You have to be in a very special set of circumstances for that to be enough for you. Applies to both contexts.0

some people just don't get it, even when you put a big flashing sign up that points to it and reads "get it?" :frown:0

Its not how much money you make but how you use it. I think that is plenty personally, and yes I live in an apartment with room mates and fend for myself. Take out money as cash, then separate it and put it wear you need it so you know where it is going! I have an envelope for rent, electric, cable, groceries, gas, savings, entertainment, etc. You can also have a "blow" envelope that is the money for you to blow on what ever you want! Budgeting is the key, and that will be plenty. Go to this page (my church is great on advice, they gave lessons on budgeting to make life easier) Print out the sheets (especially the quick start- that is mostly what I use to organize where I am putting my money) And stick to it! If you have any questions feel free to message me!
