    Thank you for your wonderful, insightful post. Like many others, I cried.

    I have posted pictures of my sons every month on a share site since the first one was born. Always of them doing things and being adorable. I now resolve to include one of me with each one of them every month. From this day forward. Someday they will have these pictures and never know you were an inspiration, but I will.

    My Mom has been overweight her whole life and has always hidden from the camera, but she's in her 80s now and we're wishing we had more pictures of the Mom we knew growing up.

    This was me, before I lost weight...
    Yeah, we should allow others to take pics of us so they have some of us when we are dead and gone because we ate ourselves to death.
    Just because we are fat, it doesn't mean it's OK. Get off your butts, go for a walk and eat healthy today. You'll be glad that you have 'before' pictures!!!!

    Sadly, I still avoid cameras because of how they USED to make me feel. It's been a while since I've had a good picture taken...

    Thanks for sharing this!! I agree with you so much! I rarely have an pictures with my mom because I hated how I looked. Now, I regret it because she passed away and I don't have many pics of us together. The ones I do have I cherish...
