    My husband is the cook in the house. I made one really horrific meal seventeen years ago and he still hasn't forgotten it. *sigh*.

    He does do the majority of the cooking. Some times I make dinner and I have come up with some good recipes on my own but I'll only serve them to him after I made it for myself and deemed it acceptable.

    I am a good baker (although he's been trying to take THAT away from me too!) and I make a kick *kitten* salad.

    In my neck of the woods, the culinary field is largely male-dominated. I've *almost* never worked in a kitchen where females are the majority (and the one occasion I did, it was a fairly small operation).

    My wife is too OCD about her kitchen so, I stay out. I am the grill master of the house though and will grill 3-5 times a week during warmer weather.

    I love to cook, and am main cook in the relationship BUT I cannot be ar$ed with sweets/desserts/puddings - WHU h is where hubby comes into his own.
