Hi, I'm 46 about two weeks in to MFP and a Fitbit One, only dropped about 6 pounds so far and according to the 'experts' I've about 80 to go but to be honest losing 50 would be a win for me.

Add me too. I am 41 and have found that low carb diet, no sweets, and exercise have worked for me. I have lost a little of ten pounds so far. The app for this site along with a couple of others have really been beneficial. Let me know what you think and we could share tips for what works!0

I am 43 and log in every day. I lost 30 pounds with WW about 10 years ago and have put 1/2 of it back on since turning 40, so yeah, I GET IT!!! Grrr.
I am back on track and struggling, not for lack of trying; I work out 4-5 times per day. Cardio in the morning, weight training on my lunch break and keep it between 1200-1400 calories per day. I am 4'10 so every pound shows!
