Anyone Else Single for V-day?

Perpetually single and hate the holiday since it's a reminder of that and watching everyone around you paired up is hard. But THANKS for this thread, seeing that I'm not the only one and reading the great responses was wonderful. I''m working the night before and the night of Single Awareness Day, so I'll sleep through most of it, but I will make some time to reread this thread. :flowerforyou:0

Its good to hear that most of u have plans and are positive about v day, but i have to admit, the holiday is bound to remind you that you are single and envy all those who have the romance that day But def gotta try and think of it as any other day :P0

Been single for every v-day so far. Been on this earth for 2 decades now but maybe one day...right?0
-
I'll treat it like any other day. No need to worry or celebrate by myself. I'll probably just come home, do some Zumba, and read a bit.0

The one year I had a boyfriend on valentines day we broke up on valentines day hahaha. I'm happier single than I am in a relationship and I can take the day to tell my family and friends how much I love and appreciate them. I don't need a boyfriend to be happy and it will be just a normal day for me and my dog .0

Single? Please. My true love, food, will be inside me all day.0

After 6years of being in a horrible relationship, yes, I'm single for V day. Although being single can be lonely, and a bit sad, I would rather be single than spend another day in my past relationship. Best decision I ever made. I'm happier now, and when I finish this transformation, I will feel comfortable wit myself again. I'm already exploring romance again. No keepers, but flings are okay for now. I'll eventually find the right one for me.0

Single as well. I just plan on going out with a few of my friends a couple days before to celebrate being single. Why not?0
-
Yes, but I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, even when I am in a relationship - I consider it a bull**** holiday. I'll be in Brooklyn seeing my friend's death metal band. I'll raise a few for the rest of you!0

After having ended a relationship in November, I am single this V-day. My plan is to go to the gym (depending on the weather) and come home to watch the Minnesota Wild play. I can say I have a date with a hockey game, right?0

I have been single every day of my life for the last 22 years, 10 months, and 27 days..... Sometimes it bothers me, other times, I couldn't care less.
So, I am simply going to exercise some extra calories off and eat some brownies and chocolates (staying within my daily goals and recording it all, of course) in celebration of my first V-day that I have ever been thin!0 -
Single and READY TO MINGLE! :drinker:0

Single but fne and dandy with it. Its not like when I was married I ever got presents on holidays...was like "hunny make me a homemade card or something please so Im not pissed tommorrow"....since I know you havent done crap...ever...lol..bitter..no I dont think so but people argue that fact...I am actually much happier single and valentines is definitly commercial. But...for you out there not single...remember to do something special for your loved ones to let them know you care.0

My birthday is Valentine's Day. It always sucked when my friends were busy with their significant others and I was all alone on my birthday! No exception this year!0

I love being single on valentines. I get to wal-mart first for discount chocolates because I am not getting laid.0
-
Yes. Am I sad about it? Nope.
I am going out with 2 friends - one who is about to pop anyday now and we are going to do dinner before the baby comes because we wont be able to for a while.
Also... discount chocolates... those make me happy.0 -
Seeing someone, but single and doubt plans will be made. However, I start my new job that day so I'm not too concerned.0
-

I've been widowed for 10 years and haven't even considered dating. I'm 61 and guess I'm accustomed to doing V-day solo. But you young folks REALLY should be looking for that special someone ... they ARE out there!0

Love it!! I'm also working on a singles' awareness playlist, with some angry chick country/rock, etc.
^^This!! Miranda Lambert..I live by her music.
Also will be working out and will be sure to get some wine to enjoy by myself = ]0 -

I'm always single for V-day... I still love it though! Singles party at my house! Why should the dating world be the only ones to have any fun!0

Nothing is more lonely than being in a dead relationship. The best valentines day was the one after my 15 year marriage was over and I was free! Alone, but free and movin on!0
