    I've been both but I prefer the darker hair. My hair stylist wanted me to keep my hair platinum blonde for two weeks before she made it pink/purple and I freaked out because blonde just doesn't suit me.

    i have dark brown hair and i love it! although i kind of want to dye my hair one of these shades of red :bigsmile:

    i think it would be a nice change, but it's a risky move, especially since i've never dyed my hair before! :o


    I really like that shade. I was born a red head & remained like that for years in childhood, then it turned brunette but I still have shades of red. Thinking about getting auburn highlights or lowlights.

    You tell me! I'm currently on my quest for Jennifer Aniston not quite blonde/not quite brown, but having been red for years takes forever to phase out. Of course, as I get closer to what was at one point my natural haircolor, I miss my bright red.

    Thanks! I did it the lazy way cutting from photobucket but forgot the img is case sensitive. And thanks again - I do miss my red hair. I had it for so long that it feels more natural than the brown!

    I have brown hair (I hate using the word "brunette", nothing against other people using it, you all look beautiful, just it's not *me*) but it has ginger in it (you can see it in some lights but not others) and I look better with ginger highlights than blonde highlights.

    Never totally changed my hair colour though. If I did it would be something totally outlandish like purple.

    Im have naturally mousey brownish hair which, thanks to my mothers gene pool, is now going grey! Ive been every colour I can be but settled on a honey blonde because it hides the grey better than trying to keep it dark. Plus with dark hair I really do look like Wednesday Addams :sad:

    But, i always end up going back to my natural color but, I sort of want to try blonde.. We'll see.

    i had both hair colors... I LOVED BEING BLONDE i got hit on ALOT lol but my hair was really damaged and it sucked bleaching the roots and making sure everything was the same color...
    i am now brunette ( naturally born this way) and although i miss being blonde it feels like a breath of fresh air.. because if my roots grow in it doesnt matter..

    being blonde i am now on a no heat/ no hair spray trend and i had to cut my hair REALLY short.. :( it used to be really really long...

    I actually like the blonde! I know what you mean it's hard to keep up with. I feel like that platinum blonde look gets sooo much attention especially from guys! Maybe it's because blonde hair lights up in a dark bar? I dont know...

    Its a myth that blondes have more fun, I'm naturally brunette, have been various shades of red and now have slight highlights again to hide the grey that's starting to come through, and I certainly have not missed out on anything in my life, lol!! :wink:

    I'm blonde. beige/platinum but looks really natural on me. people think it's my natural color. i get hit on way more with blonde hair. it's amazing. if you can't handle attention, you should not go blonde. btw i use clairol perfect 10 in shade 10. single process, it turns my dark brown hair to blonde. 10 mins, 12 dollars. it's the bomb. doesn't damage my hair. btw- i think guys have an image of blondes as being easy and a little dumber. you have to present yourself clearly as being neither. otherwise, it sucks being a blonde. also, i agree with an earlier post, some guys like both brunettes and blondes, otheres like blondes over brunettes. you get the drift. I feel like i look better as a blonde and that makes me comfortable in the shade. if you don't like it for yourself, you shouldn't change your haircolor. definitely don't do it to attract more men. some of them aren't worth attracting. lol.
