And of course, giggity... it was worth the extra effort bringing out the big guns. Fabulous shot0 -
Yesterday's eats...
Weird Pumpkin Pie Frappuccino experiment w/ chia and spinach- it was OK but I don't think I'll make it again. I've just been craving pumpkin.

Got my hands of some of this stuff today:
Gluten-free pasta? Sold! Sure, I was never a big pasta fanatic pre-coeliac diagnosis (in fact, mac and cheese ended up usually being tossed half finished - bacon eaten, of course), but this was a nice experiment.
Ate both packets cause I'm a fatass, and it even then it was JUST enough to make decent "offal spaghetti bolognese with last night's leftovers.
Bacon/Ox heart/Lamb liver and baked potato bolognese on gluten free noodles with a mozzarella and guac.
The pasta itself was 100% flavorless, but hey, tasted good when drowned in sauce, cheese and meat juice. Might make again!
Bowl of four pureed bananas, coconut flakes and a coconut lint bar and a separate bowl of raspberries.
Then I went all Gordon Ramsy on that shiz.

Good eats these days folks! Wish it was hot here and I was on a salad kick :grumble: ...
Fajitas, lasagna and souvlaki all look scrumptious! I need to revisit these dishes soon. Thx for the inspiration ladies!
Also, please don't pic quote MichelleTyler. Folks around these parts don't take kindly to it, and its a sure fire way to be blocked by the thread's main posters. Good luck getting those recipes :ohwell:0 -

A place in philly made Zagat's top 25 burgers in America, so had to check it out. Didn't leave overly impressed. It was good but not great, maybe I'll try and recreate a better version of their smashed onion burger this week
http://blog.zagat.com/2013/02/the-best-burgers-in-25-cities.html
Smashed onion burger with pepperjack
Dr Pepper pulled pork on cheddar scallion biscuits
Belgian frites
Found this while grocery shopping, had it with dinner
Egg sandwiches, basically an egg mcmuffin with a poached egg and cheddar
Strip steak with garlic and rosemary compound butter and duck fat roasted brussels with fried shallots

Some breakfasts:
Strawberry cheesecake shake including graham cracker crumbs + crunchy peanut butter on a tortilla
Chocolate shake + sunflower butter on toast
Some of this week's lunches for work:
Maple glazed pork tenderloin and curried eggplant with potatoes on rice
The curried eggplant was really filling considering it was only 285 calories (and I put in a lot of potatoes)
Chili and bread
Dinner:
Huge family-size salmon portions were on sale this week, so I had a chunk of that with spinach salad and more bread with cheese
Desserts:
I tried to make these (http://www.proteinpow.com/2012/01/dark-chocolate-protein-cubes.html) chocolate protein bites from the link above, but not all of my protein powder is flavoured and in hindsight I should have sweetened them more. Still, once topped with melted chocolate they were all right.
Cool whip, graham cracker crumbs and butterscotch chips from tonight was much more successful, and simpler
