man!!! the worst way someone can break up with someone is through a friend!!! seriously why cant they be mature and breakup face to face!!!

    No, the worst way you can break up with someone is thru text, most impersonal, cowardly thing that a person can do. At least with a friend they had someone ALIVE telling you, you can't flip off your phone lol

    Yes, my exwife did that to me, and no I will never agree this is an acceptable method.

    When I was younger my ex boyfriend told me the last girlfriend he had moved out when he was not home, changed her number, and he has not heard from her since. His friends use to see her around town. I think that is pretty bad and he said "She could have at least sent me a text or something'. LOL

    Changing your relationship status on Facebook to 'single' is even worse than text, because not only is it incredibly juvenile, but it means everyone on your mutual friends list knows before you do, and chances are your friend has to phone you to tell you, when you had no idea....

    Had a guy who I was in love with start getting very distant, started spending a lot of time at a strip club then he told me he needed time to get his life together....translation he wanted to date a stripper who treated him like *kitten* rather than someone who loved him. He got his heart ripped out and stompped on and came crawling back to me. And the "I need to get my life together" was delivered by text.

    I was deployed to Africa in the early 90's.
    I came home to an empty apartment with the exception of my clothing in a pile in the middle of the bedroom floor.
    I had to sleep on a pile of clothing that first night.

    My ex-boyfriend was broken up with at his mom's funeral (not by me, a previous long-term girlfriend). I can't really think of anything worse.
