coming from a person with a nut allergy - sunflower seed butter or soy butter
I bought soy butter once. Enough said.0 -
Peanuts are actually a legume. They are very good for you in their natural form without all the added US injected ingredients--salt, sugar, preservatives, etc. Some have said it, just buy natural peanut butter, portion control. Add in almond butter and/or cashew butter. All are great for you have excellent health benefits. Just Google it and read from reliable sources.

MOAR peanut butter.0

Coconut butter - not the same texture or consistency as the other nut butters - but chock full of those fabulous monounsaturated fatty acids and delicious!
I mix a couple of tablespoons of it into my organic, high fiber oat bran hot cereal in the morning (with a chopped up apple and cinnamon = YUM).
Try it. You'll love it.0 -
The only thing that you could replace peanut butter with is magic. But since magic isn't real, the next best thing is peanut butter.0

My nutritionist loves that I'm eating peanut butter & says it's 1 of the best/healthiest fats u can eat.0
-
try PB2, its powdered pb..its all natural, and pressed so the fat is removed. mixes well with protein shakes0

i find it hard to believe that somebody with that body thinks peanut butter is bad for you.
This is what I was thinking as well. Not sure if this thread is serious...0 -

Bwahahahahahahahaha! Now this is how unprocessed peanut butter is made...Awesome!0 -
Who says peanuts are 'bad' for you???
Anyway....replace peanut butter with......Nope, there is no replacement. Peanut Butter is Peanut Butter and nothing can ever replace it. There's nothing on earth that will make me part with my Peanut Butter.0 -
Um. I fail to see the harm in 16g fat.
That said, I prefer the flavor of almond butter.0 -
MOAR peanut butter.
Troof!0 -
Peanuts are not bad for you because they have good fat. However, if your looking for a great tasting low cal/fat alternative, check out PB2. I just bought it at GNC and it tastes GREAT! IMO it tastes just like the full fat version0

Don't replace....just expand what you do eat.
Try Almond butter, Cashew butter, etc.
Spread on pancakes...OMG!!!! *faints*0 -
Wow a lot of Paleo's in this thread. I didn't know Paleo's had Internet :rolleyes0

almond butter is awesome and you can barely tell the difference. I like the barney butter brand plus it has no chemicals or crap in it.0

Get rid of peanut butter all together...it is not even considered a nut and its not good for you regardless. I love almond butter and it mixes well in my protein shakes and spreads well! It comes in chunky organic which is awesome too!
Why why why? My hubbie is diabetic and eats Pb everyday but its ingredient is just that peanuts. Enough of this good food/bad food business0 -

This.
Why on earth would peanut butter be bad for you? Some people have been known to cry when they actually weigh a servings size and find out how little it is, but assuming you're emotionally stable you should be fine.0 -
In what way are peanuts allegedly bad for you?
Because they're viscious little *kitten*, that's why.
But really...how are they bad for you?0 -
Just give me your peanut butter then..that sh*ts expensive..0
-
I'm not sure you can replace it with anything that has a significantly less amount of fat, but I like to use almond butter, i don't know why but I feel like it is more healthful even though I'm sure it isn't. lol0
