When someone is driving under the speed limit in the left hand lane, why do they give me a dirty look when I'm forced to pass them on the right?

How did anyone not know that Freddie Mercury was gay? It's so obvious, in retrospect...
I didn't know. And...my brother was gay and he is the one that I saw Queen with for the first time. I also saw Queen a couple years ago with Paul Rodgers singing. Not the same, but great nonetheless.0 -

I remember going through Tiger Beat magazines with my friends trying to decide which "Village People" we'd want to marry. :laugh:0 -
Not really a random thought, but still random...
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and they kept me waiting alone in the room for almost an hour, the XM radio started playing "Sara" (which just happens to be my name) and the second the song ended the doctor came in. So random...0 -
Dave Navarro is really creepy.0

I don't care for spiders. It's nothing personal - they just have too many legs for my liking. There is a spider that lives on my balcony and he is one of those jumping spiders. Unfortunately, they freak me out. Because I live on the 21st floor, I can't just flick him off, because he might die if he isn't able to attach himself with a web on the way down, and I don't kill anything if I can avoid it. I generally try to peacefully co-exist with all the creatures.
Anyway, because I can't kill him or flick him out of my life, I now have a pet spider. His name is Carl.0 -
According to 1950s and 60s sci-fi, we are supposed to have flying cars by now. I feel a bit ripped off.0

Why is there a frickin' Mongolian BBQ place next to my gym? Seriously. I had just busted my butt and upon walking out found myself salivating. Not cool.0

I would love to be in the Vet's waiting room, when you bring Carl in for his first check-up and shots.0 -
Why does the DR have both hands on my shoulder when he checks my prostate?0
-
Hahahahahahaha! That's funny.
I hate walking behind meanderers.
Carl is an outdoor pet. He has to fend for himself. I have named him and will worry about him if I don't see him for a day or two, but that's it.0 -

I'm still hoping for a Star Treck food replicator & a self cleaning house!0 -
Why is it so f'ing hard to find skim milk in the south? This is the 2nd week my cafetira at work is out of it, couldn't find it at my friend's hotel this last weekend, and got the last half gallon of it at the superwalmart the week before that. Who even drink's whole milk anymore?0

How crazy was the first person ever to bungee jump.

Ditto... especially the ones that push their cart up the DIRECT CENTER of the parking aisle that I'm trying to drive up... :explode:0 -

Mine has a combo Chinese/Indian (no idea?!) restaurant next door! I admit, it does smell good. On a related note, the cashier at Walgreens offered me a 2 for 1 butterfinger deal when I was buying my Gatorade- in my running clothes and ipod on my way to the gym. I did take the opportunity to point out the irony!
I used to have a pet spider who lived on my balcony. She was there for months. I forget what her name was. I used to go out and check on her and one day she wasn't there anymore. :frown:0 -
In relation to the meanderers...
Does anyone else think that hallways should have a fast and slow lane?0 -

Actually, at the middle school I teach at, the principal (who controls every little detail!) has set up "traffic patterns" that are drilled into the kids. If they are going to lunch or changing classes, they walk on the right. The middle should be empty for teachers etc to pass! Of course, the upper grades aren't as good about it by the end of the school year. It works most of the time, though. I just wish every place had that!0 -

That would be cool! I remember going to some camp in 6th grade where everybody had to walk counterclockwise when going around the mess hall. It was weird.0 -
I think there should be some sort of markings on king sized fitted bed sheets letting you know which side is which. The measurements are so similar that it is hard to tell by just looking at it.0

I do! I hate walking behind slow people. And then they always seem to walk right down the middle of the aisle or sidewalk where you can't walk around them. GRRRRRRR!!!0 -
I was watching the rain earlier and it made me homesick for the midwest where it knows how to really rain not this piddly rain the Seattle area usually gets.
Of course I'll take the piddly rain when I have a 15 minute walk to and from work and the train station. :laugh:0 -
I was walking home today and a bug flew into my mouth. Serves me right for being a mouth-breather, I guess. I managed to fish it out, but because it took me a moment to realise what had happened, I'm pretty sure I swallowed some bug guts.
Related topic - I didn't see Carl for about 3 days and I thought he might have relocated, but no, he's still there. Goody.0 -
Why do we have meetings taking us away from our desk lasting an hour just to tell us we need to be more productive? Well if you just didn't waste an hour of my time I could have gotten more done.0

How many calories are in bug guts? :laugh:0 -

And I hate when a line of people walk slow so you can't get around them. It's like GRR! Move! I want to GOOOO!0 -
On the topic of the whole meanderers...I hate it when you are driving through a parking lot and there are people walking down the middle of the parking lot aisle and you can't get passed them. Then they turn around and look at you like you are the problem here and keep walking down the middle!!!! :grumble:0

Why are toes so sensitive? You would think they would be tough, considering their purpose.0

I'm going to England in 2 weeks. That will be nice.0
