    Have you guys seen the TV show WEEDS? Love that show...it just gets more and more far fetched each episode...very hilarious.

    Ever read the Dark Hunter Series by Sherilyn Kenyon? Those are really awesome. If you like True Blood, you'll love her writing.

    We just started re-watching season 1 on cable on-demand... ain't nothing much ELSE on TV (besides True Blood and Hell's Kitchen :laugh: ) I'd forgotten a lot of the old stuff.

    Same thing with drive thru ATM's but I guess they ASSume someone else is driving.

    Seriously, they do? I've never seen that before. They can't very well even reach the menu board either, so do they get out of the car and walk up to it?

    Many restaurants close the doors and clean the dining room at 9 or 10 but serve the drive thru 'til midnight. Taco Bell, for ex. So let's suppose you're blind, or at least legally blind. It's 10:30, and you want a chalupa,,, so you and Rover walk over the tacobel and stroll up to the drivey-thingie. That Braille makes hella sense now, don't it?

    ATM,,, well that's obvious. Blind folks need to handle their $ too ya' know, that's why we have "Talking ATM's". And just 'cause it's a drive-up ATM don't mean you have to drive up to use it.

    Down here in the south where I live, all gov't officials and scientists are saying, "Don't touch the tar balls or the oil. The substance is highly toxic and can cause serious health issues." Yet, the reporters are playing with the stuff like it is play dough! HHMMMM.....

    When someone is driving under the speed limit in the left hand lane, why do they give me a dirty look when I'm forced to pass them on the right?

    That's my slow poke husband driving in the left lane because no one ever taught him the right lane was for pokey puppies...lol!!!!

    Why can't super tankers be fitted with vaccuum hoses and the little robots hold the hoses over the oil coming out of the well in the gulf? And suck that oil right into the tankers to be taken to be processed somewhere??

    was in Pensacola this weekend and people were swiming in the ocean. Why do they even have the beaches open? Oh and they imported sand.

    I'm from a little town about 50 miles from New Orleans...one of the coastal communities you hear them talk about called Lafourche Parish. Down here, what "they" are doing is they have this machine that they are running the sand through which literally sanitizes the polluted sand and sifts and sorts the pollutants and then they put the clean sand back. It is really bad down here. Most of the country doesn't realize how devastating this has been to our culture, our way of life.
