    I am a BIG nerd

    But more importantly i'm a special effects adviser (and prop maker) so i know a lot about theater, puppets and film.

    I am trying to lose weight, but you are so right about wanting to stay inside and read HP or watch a great film than go out there and move our booties!!

    i need friends to support me and i promise i can be a very good support for others. sometimes it takes a complete stranger to tell you you're doing great or need a little encouragement to get us off our rears and get em in gear!!

    If anyone else on this feed likes where i'm coming from, ask for a friend request. we can all help each other. I wanna be able to COSPLAY in CONFIDENCE!!!!!

    Ok peeps the man wants me to go as Slave Leia to our next comicon in April but I reckon a Twi'lek as I have loads of tatts and the Leia wouldn't be a canon. Opinions?

    I can only do the weekend so I have to focus my efforts! Just reading on building a twi'lek costume o_O. Call me uncommitted but I might just buy the damned metal bikini. Maybe Leia one day and Moxxi from Borderlands the next day.

    Saying it loud, I'm a nerd and I'm proud! Harry Potter, LOTR, and then on the other side of the spectrum, the boyfriend has introduced me to the joy of comic books and I'm totally immersed!

    Kind of a geeky dork here. Definitely socially inept and random about my loves.

    Example - I read the Eve Dallas series, which a lot of sci fi folks have snickered over. I played EQ and EQ2 over WOW. I love RP and follow it more than the gaming, apparently. Oh and I'm super into the steampunk deal. So definitely a dork.

    On the other hand, I've read HP so many times and I still cry over Fred's death as hard as the first time. I love the Doctor, but I can't get into Matt Smith. Or maybe I just freaking loved David Tennant best. I have 3 conventions I'm hitting up all in the month of May and I'm freaking over meeting Nathan Fillion, whom I hope will sign my Firefly dvd collection. And I'm utterly in love with reading, have been since I was a toddler, apparently.

    So I guess that'd make me geeky. Hard to say. Hmmm.
