Try something that works for the French (and has worked really well for me) - for dessert, or when you're feeling hungry between meals, have a small slice (1/2 oz or one oz) of a smooth, creamy, decadent slice of your favorite cheese. (Mine is Kerrygold aged white cheddar from Ireland). Eating this will signal your body / metabolism that "I'm getting enough fat in my diet - things are ok" so your body won't go into "starvation mode," which happens when you get too few calories. This could add the 200 or so extra calories each day you need, provide a decadent daily treat, and get your body back into calorie burning mode.0

more to the point, exactly how long have you been on your diet? going by your profile, it says a day. did you start exercising in the past few days? have you been eating lots of salty things to keep from feeling hungry after exercising? at the very beginning of a diet you're just as likely to gain a few pounds as lose waterweight, and the leaner you are, the harder it is to lose weight. you say you have a month to work through; while you won't necessarily lose all the weight you want in that time, it is entirely possible to tone up a fair bit. just make sure you don't overdo the exercise, or you'll have to break it off and, working in such a short time period, will probably lose the benefits.0

You're doing it wrong.0

Youre well within normal weight for your height. You ARE skinny. (Whatever that means....) now-- you can do some sculpting with weight training. Eat more. Eat better. Lift weights.0

OP is younger than most, probably does not have as much experience in nutrition like you "experts" giving advice . While you might have good advice , be nice and courteous.0

I would say that you need to talk to your doctor and have him do a body comp test and also determine whether or not you are eating at the correct calorie deficient. What it sounds like to me is that you need to start lifting weights if you want to be smaller.0

You are not eating enough calories to sustain yourself and your body has gone into starvation mode.0

Your body is not losing because you are already at a healthy weight.0
