    I wonder if Washington DC public transport is as effective as London or Paris. Need to go there next week and heard driving parking sucks.

    The architect is here to measure for our oversized 2-car garage + 12'x26' shop addition to our 88yr old house that, currently, has a big, ugly carport partially blocking my otherwise unobstructed view of the Puget Sound! Sooooo excited (now to figure out how to pay for it!)

    The subway is the best way to get around.

    See the ugly carport top? We're going to tear it down, build the garage UNDER the current deck (the top of the garage will BE the new deck). The current deck is directly below where I'm taking the picture (from the second floor balcony).

    Right click the picture & open in a new window....it's only showing half of the image for some reason...
