Mine was 41 at the hospital last time I went in for health screen. They took it twice and asked me if I ran. lol. I said, "Yes."

    Awesome!! :smokin:

Ok thx guys! I'm a cardiac RN so I'm well aware of what brady is. I just thought it was odd, ESP since I don't consider myself an athlete. Well, til tonight. W00t!

I've clocked myself as low as 39 in the morning before really doing anything.

Currently about 48-51. It has been as low as 39 when I've been fitter; that's been a while... :-)

About 75, but Im on a medication that supposedly raises heart rate. I haven't checked my hr directly upon waking which is probably when the medication would be lowest in my system.

My rhr used to be around 100, so it's dropped considerably with exercise :)

66 today, on less sleep than usual, a glass of wine and a bit less water intake than normal. I used to be in the high 70s, low 80s before regular exercise

55 This morning. Usually high 40's but it went up to high 50's as I'm recovering from a major sporting event a few weeks back.

This points out that your resting HR is somewhat variable. It can become elevated for a period of time following intense exercise. It is also an indication that you may be overtraining. It is worth monitoring several times a week to get a feel as to where you should be. If there are significant excursions from "normal" you might consider figuring out why.

Mine's around 42 at the moment. I got comments by the nurses that I must be fit when I was in hospital a few years ago. They had to get special permission to release me from recovery after surgery because it wasn't above 50 and wasn't going to head there ever
