Ok ill share one from today. This is me in all my loose skin, stretch mark glory from losing such a large amount of weight. Be nice, i know i still have stuff to work on before summer. Just thought it may help those who are curious about what may happen after losing quite a bit of weight.

I've been eyeing a few 2 pc designs since I saw them in January... I don't own a bikini yet, haven't in EONS!!! But I really want to be able to wear one this year, even if I am not at my final goal weight. I would love to add my pic to this list as soon as I get one :)

<---- Me in my Profile pic, my New VS Bikini! I finally have improved my fitness to a new level and finally feel confident in a bikini after years of negative body self-image. I have lost a total of 40 lb. over a long, slow journey. But, If I can do it, then so can you!!

I don't think I am ready for a bikini yet but I vowed that I wouldn't wear a swimdress again this summer. Sooo here is this one piece. Maybe I will be toned enough for a bikini next summer. :blushing:

    ROLLED AGAIN!! NICE WORK!!!

I think some of you guys are kinda missing the point.... this thread isn't to post a picture of you when you're at goal, or have a tan.. the whole point is to post a picture of yourself, as you are, in whatever shape you're in, because NO MATTER WHAT you look like right now, you're an awesome and amazing person. Anyone with a kickass attitude can rock a bikini. I'll go ahead and post the very original post again just in case we need it..

Do you know what I think is beautiful? Confidence. Camaraderie, support and encouragement are beautiful. Determination, a positive attitude, strength, passion and focus are all beautiful.

Make no mistake, this isn't a "Fat Acceptance" thread. This is a Self Acceptance thread. Accepting that we are not perfect, we are not finished works, and we are not going to be ashamed of ourselves. I would like to encourage women of all sizes, shapes, and fitness levels to post a photo of themselves in a bikini (keep it clean, folks..) to show support for each other. Everyone has insecurities - from the award winning fitness models to the women still trying to get comfortable in shorts... so how about we focus on the things that are good about each other instead of the things we perceive to be wrong.

You are not defined by the scale or by anyone elses' standards. If you're pushing toward your goals, you are beautiful.

^ Thank you, sweetie. For me, this is the best. You give me hope that one day .... just one day! :flowerforyou:

Thank you SO much. You dont know how much that means to me. I'm still self concious about the extra skin but ehhh, what can i do. I did try one on again the other day and can tell that the skin is tightening on my belly so i have a little hope that maybe with time it will get better. This is a 6 week difference:

cazzer; THANK YOU! Yes 6 weeks. Zero pounds lost the past 4 weeks so at least there is a visual difference. But yes, 6 weeks and probably 4 lb difference between the 2.
