Well after a great March where I did better than my goal, here goes again! This month though I will be going onto maintenance from the 20th as I can't lose anymore between my final wedding dress fitting and the big day, don't want it falling down as I walk down the aisle!

This month I am going to try to conquer restaurant food. After my 750 calorie laden hamburger with coleslaw at Bob Evans a couple of weeks ago, I need to make better choices. It was a 1000 calorie lunch. *We went to Red Lobster for lunch on Friday. I did really well. It all came in under 500 calories.*0 -

I have been here for 575 days. I lost 25 pounds. My intake was 1000 a day, under a doctors advice. I went to 1200 and exercise my *kitten* off. Dancing 45 minutes 7 days a week. I lost 10 pounds in 3 months. (Not happy My HRM burn is between 180 to 250. SW: 185 ==January 1st Current weight ---175. GW: 165 by May 1st. My loss has been so slow.
BTW, I am 61 so realize it is going to be slower. I have no patience for people who joined a month ago, lost 5 to 10 pounds and complain.0 -

Just started my journey in February....my "renewal" should be to change my exercise up in April. I was doing great first month (feb 17-Mar 17) but got busy/bored/comfortable/whatever and need to get back into a better exercise routine. I have kept the calories/diet in check...but can tell from the slow progress the last two weeks that the exercise is pretty critical for me to make progress.

Honestly, about 2 of those pounds really was just water weight due to those magical 5-7 days out of the month I wish I were a man. I stuck to my guns last week though. And even gave yoga a go and really enjoyed it! So much I now plan to continue to do it every other day. :happy:0 -

I am noticing the scale start to creep up on me and need some positive motivation to keep working hard. I have totally been slacking with tracking calories and logging exercise. I got into the lazy mentality of "I can eat whatever I want and not gain weight...so I will!" Uhhh..I was wrong. My goal is to get back down to 131 by the end of the month.

Being retired and having a home gym helps. I can exercise at my own pace and do what I want, when I want. I do 2 hours of cardio every other day and 2 hours of weights, upper and lower, the other days, with one day of rest. I also reset my macros for less fat, less sodium, more fiber and protein. I also quit my big regular soda habit and drink water or tea and I don't eat junk food anymore. I also quit using butter.
I guess I didn't do the reply thing correctly, this was in response to a question, someone had about my weight loss.0 -
I felt discouraged at first .:grumble:...but then ..I thought ...I didn't gain any :frown: ..I am going to need all the support I can get because life is throwing hardballs at me....and I cannot duck fast enough...there is a lot of emotional pain that I am trying to get past...for those who pray..put me in your prayers...Thank You!!
