    Caca-pot Smoothie (LOL)

3 tablespoons nutiva hemp powder (sometimes 4 if I worked out more that day)
    1 cup almond milk
    2.5 tablespoons raw cacao
1 banana (or half if you don't want the extra 55 cal)
    10 almonds
(and sometimes 1 tablespoon peanut butter)
    ice

I'm a huge fan of Torani sugar-free syrups. I add them to chocolate or vanilla protein powder to create just about anything. I keep a good stash at home - peanut butter and coffee are two of my favorites. With peanut butter I also add a tiny bit of salt so it's not overly sweet, and gives the taste of a saltier peanut butter without the added calories. And cinnamon goes great in just about everything.

I also will do a pumpkin pie spice combo (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger) in vanilla. Flavored extracts also work well for a subtle flavor-add without additional sweetness.

And for my base I usually use unsweetened almond milk. At 35 cals/cup, it's rich and creamy with good calcium and is a good balance to the sometimes over-sweetened powders.

I'm going to have to go shopping and try some of these!

    Green Protein Smoothie

    1/2 C almond milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
    1 tbsp peanut butter
    1/2 sliced banana
    2 C baby spinach
    2 C crushed ice

    Mix all in blender- YUMMY!

This is my favorite too! We call it the Hulk Shake at our house. :) Although, I freeze the bananas and spinach and do not add ice. It's just a personal preference since my blender doesn't chop ice evenly.
