I don't place too much focus on age. That being said the youngest I would go is probably mid 20s.

Doesn't matter much because I'm not available anyways. lol

    I'm 23
    and I haven't dated a man under 35 in over 3years.
I would date someone between the ages 24-40.
But, I lean more towards the older gentlemen ;-)

I am 21 and my fiance is 26 years old. we've been dating for four years. I couldn't stand the maturity of a guy my age. lol

when I was single I dated younger sometimes but I married a man 10 years older....I figure anyone 21 and over is date-able...to marry is a different story lol.

My wife of 30 years is 4 years younger than me. Everyone is different but as for me, I can't imagine being with a woman more than ten years younger.
  • I'm 19 and I usually go towards guys my own age and maybe a bit older. I do like grad students though.

I am 33. Dating is a whole other story from being monogamous or serious. So for dating... I would go with 21-45. From there...anything can happen if we are compatible. I wouldn't put off being serious with someone just because they are older or younger. That's what dating is for, it's to find out if you could be with the person long term (even if it just starts out as only fun). In other words, have fun. If it gets serious, then it gets serious. If it only ends up being fun for a short while, so be it.

I've pretty much always dated younger. I just turned 50 and the women I find myself interested in are generally between 38-48. A couple of years back I date a gal 17yrs younger, but it was too much of an age difference for to consider anything long term.

I don't look at the age (as long as they are of legal age), I look at the connection with the person. I've dated men 25 years older and I've dated men 20 years younger.

    I am 30, my range would be 25 to 45, I wouldn't go any younger than 25 -- I would probably go over 45.

I'm 30. 27 is my min and 40 is my max.
  • 1/2 my age plus 7 !
  • I'm 50; my boyfriend is 37; my ex-husband is 62! Didn't even occur to me that a younger guy would be interested in someone my age, but we've been dating for over a year & all is well.:smokin:

34-42, I'm 36 my fiance is 34, my ex husband was 10 years older, my opinion is the 10 year age difference did not work in the long run, at least not for us, but could work for someone else..

    (Hint: physical maturity)
Indeed; I wasn't going to go in to liking specific bodytypes for fear of an internet-beating :P.

What about the "formula?" Minimum age to date is half your age + 7? Oldest age to date is two times (your age -7).

Based on this I can date anything from 29.5 through age 83

My personal rule is closer to my age than my oldest son's age (he just turned 18) and closer to my age than my dad's (he is 65) which means I can date 31.5 through 55.

with job and kids, though..who has time to date?

According to the "formula" I could date a 19.5 year old or a 43 year old but I wouldn't go for either. I'm willing to go a year younger or five years old but prefer a small age difference of a year or two between us.

I am 31 and my husband is 44. Should he predecease me I would not do such a large age gap again. I am thinking 5 years older/younger would be my limit.

According to that formula I could date someone as young at 22 and as old at 55....ummm...no thanks. :noway:

    Let's see, I'm 60... she'd be 37... I don't think so.

Mmmm.... All depends really... I guess anything from mid-20's to maybe 45ish! Providing we have a lot in common and get on well and are compatible then that's the main thing!
