What do you drink when you go out?

Usually water, but since we don't go out as much as we used to I will have a Shiner Bock, Heineken or Johnnie Walker Black0

Unsweet tea and splenda. Have you tried Arnold Palmer's? It's half tea and half lemonade. You can ask for unsweet tea and a just a bit of lemonade to sweeten.0

I am a beer gal, but to watch the caloric intake, I drink Guinness. Guinness has 167 calories in a full 16 ounce pint, whereas so many other beers top 250. When I'm not drinking alcohol, it's usually water or a diet coke.0

Oh. Diet sprite and a splash of grenadine.0
-
Lemon water with extra lemon hehe0
-
I'm a huge fan of club soda/seltzer with a splash of cranberry juice with a lime. the calories added from the cran are minimal, and if you're not a fan of plain club soda/seltzer it really does add flavor.0

Club soda/seltzer, unsweetened iced tea or carry a Mio in my purse & flavor the water.0

Good morning ! When I go out for dinner I usually order Ice tea or water with a twist of lemon..... Sometimes I bring my own drink. P.S. Have a great day !0
-
If I'm wanting alcohol, I usually go with Jameson and water... Otherwise, just water with lemon or unsweetened iced tea.0

I generally have grapefruit juice and soda (the UK fizzy water type).0

I carry a little container of liquid MIO and Crystal Liight in my purse. My favorite flavors are raspberry lemonade and orange juice. Crystal Light has a few new alcohol-inspired flavors like Mojito, Margarita, and Appletini. They are delicious and calorie-free. I add them to water when I am out. If I am drinking (rarely), I order vodka and water or vodka and club soda and add a squirt of my MIO or Crystal Lite.0

Jameson with either diet coke or coke zero. Nothing beats Jameson..NOTHING.0
-
Sparkling water with lemon or lime. I found I was drinking diet soda just because I like the bubbles. Now I get my bubbles without the aspathame and artificial sugars.0
-
Water. Water w/lime. Yep. That's about it.0
-
It's water w/ lemon and never any soda, diet or not. Alcohol is vodka/tonic.0

If your not jazzed about drinking plain water, mabe you could bring some crystal light packets, or a mio to add some flavor, sugar free of course!0
-
if no booze - just drink soda water and put lemon and limes in it
I do that but with patron as well0 -
Jameson...always jameson0

Jameson...always jameson

Unsweet tea. Also, my mom always carries Mio (or Crystal light also has a version) to add to water. They come in all sorts of tasty flavors.0
-
Jameson is a good friend and all, but I usually roll with my best friend Johnnie.0

Wow. I stuck this on this morning before heading out to work, and have come back to pages of replies! Thank you all so much!
One thing that strikes me is the different things available in different parts of the world. Several people have mentioned "Mio" - sorry I haven't heard of that. Is that a US thing? And if so what is it and can I get it here in the UK?!
I don't often go to the pub - particularly since I'm off alcohol at the moment - but last night was with friends for a meal and I just really struggled.
I did have a J2O but they are full of sugar. I did get a sparkling water after that but it just got me thinking that really there aren't that many options when you're out. At home I drink sugar free squash mostly. Or diet lemonade very occasionally.
(I'm sort of avoiding caffeine at the moment as well which is why I'm not drinking cola or tea / coffee.)
Thanks for the ideas though!0 -
Water0
-
get you some Mio carry it around add it to you water..... mango peach delicious0

I rarely go out so I drink Beer. I am not helpful.0
-
water with lemon:)0

Water long island (surprisingly tasty, or you could just ask them to make it with unsweet tea and no coke), Gin & tonic, rum & soda w/ a dash of juice, and when I'm splurging, love me a hard cider.
I also do beer (Guinness is actually a pretty low-cal option if you like dark & malty) on occasion, just drink it more slowly, enjoy the flavor!
If it's not party time, water or iced tea are always favorites!0
