You look awesome! I struggle with losing my belly and arm fat and keep going back on forth on lifting. I did NROL4W with no success. So might check out this venus program. Is it much different?0

You look great! I am sold!
I'm curious, was there weight loss between the two pics? (I like to get an idea of what I can expect).
Right now, I'm in weightloss mode. I plan to add muscle after my weightloss... and so will look into those recommendations. Thanks for the inspiration!0 -
WOW! You have inspired me to lift more often. I find it hard giving up the cardio classes. You look amazing!0

There *was* body fat loss between the 2 pics. I would have described myself as "skinny fat" in pic 1....I looked just fine in clothes, was always described by others as "skinny" (only my husband - and all the women in my health club - saw me naked, right??). Figured I had 10 lbs to lose, which is how I ended up at JPFitness forum, finding a 'challenge' to enter (Jan 1, 2012), which involved NROL4W.
I have lost 20 lbs to date. OF PURE FAT.
I'm having a DXA scan done at the end of May, 2013 to confirm what my body fat% is (I think I'm about 24% right now...) and what my LBM is, etc.
While Venus, like NROL series, focuses on "compound moves" (i.e. no split days, etc.), Venus is different than NROL. Different because:
1. it offers different eating advice than the NROL series;
2. it offers a community of subscribers which, for me, lead to my BEST successes and all sorts of learning about "posing", what sorts of clothes suit a pear-shaped body (I'm a natural pear), etc.; and
3. It offers MUCH more variety - EVERY SINGLE WORK-OUT is a different work-out! Love this.0 -
You look awesome. I started lifting and I love it!0
