I'm 28, and I still get carded buying lottery tickets. At the liquer store this past weekend, the lady at the register asked for a second form of ID. I could have hugged her.

ETA: Although, when I first started going to bars, there were several that I walked in and never got carded. My dad says it's because I walk in like I own the place, but who knows?

I'm 32 and often get asked for ID when buying alcohol. It's a pain in the neck when I forget to bring some but it's flattering when I have my passport or provisional driving licence on me. I once asked a shop keeper how old I looked after showing my ID and he said 'early twenties or younger'. I don't think I look THAT young but I'll take it!

I'm 25, but people think I'm between 18 and 22.

I work in a high school, and I'm always getting stopped by security people and it generally goes like this:

"Excuse me hun! Where is your hall pass?"
"Oh I work here... Shows staff ID"
"Really? Well are you a student teacher then?"
"No I graduated in 2010"
"Oh ok. Have a nice day!"

Drives me nuts!

I'm 52, most people think I'm in my early 40's, sometimes I'll get 30-something. I still get carded about half the time, which is funny because I'm usually old enough to be the mother of the person asking me for ID.

Depends... with straight hair I get mid 20's but with curly hair I usually get younger. I am carded 95% of the time for alcohol and lotto tickets. When I am with my mom they think I am in high school (and I got asked to prom). Good genes run in the family... my grandma who is 98 looks like she is in her 70's and my mom who is 65 looks like she is in her 40's.

39 and get told I look like I am early to mid 20s But where I live there are a lot of people who do not really look after their health so maybe they tend to look older, I did a team endurance race this past weekend that was 8hrs long and had almost as much energy at the end of it as the 16yr old boy on our team did, we were ready to keep going, we could have kept hiking for about another 2 or 3 hrs.

I get everything from 19 to 25.

My wife got carded for an R rated movie a few months back and she's 28. At least we look young together. It's weird seeing this normal guys with really old and wrinkly looking women who smoked and had too much sun.

What makes someone "look their age"? How can you not look "your age"?

I was ID'd just last month, the lady said she'd give me credit and say I look no older then 18. I just turned 29, and have a 10 and 6 year old.

I am 47 and everyone that I meet thinks that I am in my early 30's..including those in their early 30's and younger...makes me laugh because age is truely just a number and how you feel about yourself is really all that matters and I feel good in my skin:-)

I am 33 and depending on my hair cut I get anywhere from 16 to 25. I'm good with that..lol.

When I first moved to NS and started working people were shocked to learn that I was married, they thought I got married way too young (I got married when I was 27). :laugh:

People usually think I am between 22-25. I am 28 and will be turning 29 on Sunday. I avoid the sun most of the time due to burning easily and don't care about tanning. I think the fact my mom also looks young for her age and I take care of myself also helps.
