Men: long hair or short?

When mine was short the women commented how great it looked. guys not so much. You can always grow it back.0

It depends on your bone-structure, I think. . Short hair doesn't always work. .but when it does. . .it REALLY does!. . It can be extremely sexy.
However. . short hair is pretty limited. . You can really only style it one way. .whereas with long hair you have a lot of options. I could get into some other details that make long-hair preferable too. . .but I don't want another strike.
One more point: Every girl I've known that went short regretted it within a week. . . that's six months of not liking your look. . a lifetime for a girl!0 -
We are talking about hair length upstairs and not downstairs, right?0

I've had my hair every length/color under the sun, and I have to say that long hair will get you the most passing glances. However, when I had a pixie cut I dated a few guys who were really into my short hair. If your haircut makes you feel good/confident, then ultimately that is what's going to turn heads.0

hahaha - thanks for all the input! it wouldn't be pixie cut short or anything - It would be shoulder length, or between shoulder and chin length, bob cut. I like Heidi's in this link if you're interested - http://www.thefashionmuse.com/12-of-the-best-celeb-bob-hairstyles/
I sweat a TON and workout a lot, so I would need to still be able to put it up and out of my way I'll keep thinking...0 -
Seems like most guys I know prefer longer hair. Which is good for me because I can't have short hair...it turns into a horrid ginger tumbleweed fro. So I keep it long & try not to anger the beast.0

<<<< Alright! I have to know. I cut my hair about a week ago. Before that, it hadn't been cut for 5 years.
So.... am I rocking the short hair?0 -
Long, but not too long - sort of just past shoulder length
but you need to be tall aswell
just my preference.0 -

You need to wear it the way you like it, and how it make you feel the best about yourself. If you have it long, but don't feel sexy/attractive in that style then try it medium length, or short, until you find a style that gives you confidence. In my experience men are attracted to women that are confident and outgoing.... not the length of their hair.0

I'm happy with either as long as it looks good. My girlfriend has gone back and forth between long and short over the time we've been together and I've been pleased with every single styling/cut. The hair does not make the woman.
A side note: I have long curly hair as you can see in my profile pic, so I clearly know what it's like to have long hair get in the way during a workout.0 -

Well personally, even though I haven't gotten a lot of negative feedback about it, I'm not especially fond of it short myself.0 -

How YOU doin'? Ahhhh, shoot, and tall. I doubt I'm tall enough.0 -
Do what makes you feel sexy. The end.
I have had no shortage of men that love my short hair.0 -
No preference, really. As long as it suits you and you're happy with it. Who am I to tell you how to wear your hair.0

actually no stay on them :devil:0 -
it all depends on the girls face, I am usually a long hair guy but some girls can totally rock short hair0
-
Isn't it nice how you can ask a big group of guys a question about their preferences and get the same answer from everyone?0
-
Without the slightest hesitation! Long!0
-
Pffft.
Like any of us are looking at your hair.
Hhahahaha!!!0 -
I prefer to have short hair in the summer because my hair is so fricken thick and heavy, and then grow it out for the winter... do what YOU want, not how you think a man is going to react..0
-
Depends on the shape of her face and how big her head is. I tend to prefer long hair that is well maintained, but with the right facial shape a pixie cut is really cute or even shoulder length hair.
So really, it depends.0 -
depends on the girl but usually longer hair0

we are all shallow and looks-orientated, that’s why.0 -
AFter about 15 years of long hair, I just chopped mine. Regrets? none. Everyone loves it, and says it looks great on me. Except my husband. I think he tolerates the short hair, but doesn't like it.0
-
Seems to be that most prefer long.... unless you have an amazing rack
But its your hair, do what you want with it.... BUT personally, every time I've cut mine I regret it..... BIG time.0 -
I prefer it long....I've seen a few women around that can rock the short hair though......\m/0
