Monthly fitness goal / event: Have a family fun run coming up in a few weeks with my son's school.......should be fun and a challenge! This event was this past Saturday! So much fun to see the kids race! I tried to keep up! I even got in a few miles of walking in the park afterward while my son played with his friends. Overall a very successful fitness Saturday!0 -

Although they weren't totally new since I've tried both types of classes before, I went to 2 classes I hadn't been to before (one of my fitness goals for may): a hooping class and a burlesque dancing class. Both were really fun and made me feel confidant about my body. Burlesque looks so much better when performed by a curvy woman!!0 -

I'm really thrilled with my progress this month. I did TDEE-20% for two months and didn't make the kind of progress that I would have liked. I switched to mfp's recommendations to lose 1 lb per week at the beginning of May and have started to lose pounds regularly. I'm finally out of the obese category!
