The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club.

My comment would have been funny if GutOfJumpIntoThreadsAndStealMyLines didn't jump into the thread and steal my line.

Thus far though, sweep the leg wins methinks.

    1. Know that old saying, location location location? Well that's dead, right boys.
    2. Seize the day.
    3. It's not where you're from, it's where you're going.
    4. Fear nothing.
    5. Send the word out to those who believe in it.
    6. Stand up and let your voice be heard.
    7. Reject the mainstream.
    8. The rule is... never fail.
9.You have to make sure the music is banging. You can't have a revolution if the music isn't banging right? Do you know what I mean boys.
    10. It's your choice, find your own voice.

Mine would have been funny if it had been posted first.....oh wait, it was. Dry those tears Rainy Face, and comfort yourself with the knowledge that in all other respects, you're probably far superior than me. (That's what I tell myself to get to sleep at night anyway.)

    1. Enjoy the life you have. (You never know when you're gonna go)
    2. Tell your family, spouse, children you love them everyday (You never know when they're gonna go)
    3. Be kind to animals and elderly people.
    4. Be honest...first with yourself, then with others
    5. Have manners or learn some (Hold the door for someone, say thank you when someone does for you)
    6. Do something nice without expecting anything in return
    7. Make time to do things you love and do them as often as you can
    8. Respect and honor the dead (whether you know them or not...a lot of them honored you by dying)
    9. Take care of yourself (hygiene, health, spirituality - it's your body, treat it like a temple)
    10. Love. Love often and whole-heartedly.

This is a good one too!

I'm not sure telling MFP how often you take care of things on your own really adds much to this conversation...

Mine would be to treat others with the same amount of respect with which they treat you.

Yep . . . that would be mine too.

    (The following is somewhat sarcastic)

The first issue is 'Which God'. Do you mean the almost psychopathic, judgmental and 'smiting' on of the old testament ?

Do you mean the one that was his own father and spent almost 30 years in obscurity before building a following of the new testament ?

Even that one was a little bit crazy sounding to be honest.

Or do you mean Zeus or Apollo or any of the ancient gods, or maybe some of the the Egyptian or Roman ones ?

Personally I really like the sound of the Norse gods, they certainly knew how to party.

Or maybe you are talking about Allah or any of the other Nine Billion names for God ?

Seriously, it is way better to treat each other well, with no regard for their race, creed (if applicable), sexual orientation etc.

'Loving God' seems to be a way of shifting the blame for ones crappy existence.....

example: Maybe if I loved God a bit more I would be able to stick to my diet. Or: Maybe I do not love God enough to be thin - it is Gods' wish that I am this size.

So I am going to amend my original

'Be Excellent to each other and take responsibility for your own actions'
