    Nope, uphill.

    Mapmyrun has it as a total ascent of 1295 ft. maximum elevation of 1,332.02 ft. The total distance was around 9 miles (14.7 km), the first 2m were rolling, then 6 miles to the top, the last 3 to the finish line were less of an incline, but had a couple steep hills thrown in.

    Did I mention the guy who won the leg ran it in just over 57 minutes?



    :glasses: we need a little bowing dude... you rock! that's a serious elevation change!

    5/29- 5.34 miles... and that's goal, but i'd sure like to break 100 this month! i have two more days. that's doable.

    You can do it - I am doing some miles early in the AM, it is getting hot down in the South.

    If walking counts, I walked a total of 2.91 miles today...still doesn't get me to 50 miles, but maybe I can run when I get home *crossesfingers*

    Mon 8.3, Thu 7.9, Wed 8.4, Thu 7.5 and Fri 9.1 miles. I reached 200 without really trying, I'm so happy right now:happy:

    I just did another 3.2 miles, in the sizzling heat. Well, 85F in the shade, not super hot, could be worse.

    Bad case of sciatica ... been trying to push through it, but to no avail most days. I believe I need more stability in my shoes so will be making a change this week!

    We have started a thread in the group and soon there will also be one here in the fitness forum :bigsmile: I am slightly behind, I seem to have a hard time catching up this year, maybe because it has a '13' in it.

    But :blushing: hopefully tomorrow there will be a new sparkly thread here too !!! Trying to figure out a good color for June....
